Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
For many residents of Alabama, particularly those in search of flexible and affordable living solutions, mobile home and RV parks offer a unique pathway to homeownership or convenient temporary accommodation. In the heart of Marshall County, Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park presents itself as a community with a dual purpose, catering to both long-term mobile home residents and short-term RV travelers. When locals consider such a park, they often weigh factors like affordability, location, and the quality of the living environment.
Located at 180 Doyle Dr, Albertville, AL 35950, USA, Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park is positioned to offer access to the scenic beauty and recreational opportunities of the region, including proximity to Lake Guntersville. However, it's important for prospective residents and visitors to be aware of the range of experiences reported. While the park's website and promotional materials emphasize a welcoming atmosphere and a range of amenities, some customer reviews paint a less flattering picture, citing issues such as "disgusting trashy" conditions, "strays everywhere," and "tall grass" in trailer areas. There are also concerning reports about rental units, including discrepancies in advertised features (e.g., "barely a 1 bedroom" advertised as 3 bedrooms), lack of promised appliances like refrigerators, and issues with heating and electricity, as well as problems with refunds and billing.
This article aims to provide a factual and comprehensive overview of Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park, drawing on publicly available information to help users in the Alabama region make informed decisions.
Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park is advertised as a versatile community in Albertville, Alabama, designed to serve both mobile home residents seeking long-term housing and RV enthusiasts looking for short or extended stays. The park emphasizes its welcoming environment for families and individuals, aiming to provide an affordable pathway to homeownership or comfortable temporary lodging in Marshall County.
The park's official information suggests a commitment to providing a good place to live, with promises of a "pet-friendly community" and proximity to local attractions in Albertville, Boaz, and Guntersville. They offer lots for mobile homes for purchase, sometimes with owner financing options, and also have mobile homes available for rent. For RVers, the park highlights "spacious pull-through sites," "easy access for big rigs," and essential utilities. However, it is crucial to reconcile this promotional overview with numerous concerning customer reviews. These reviews frequently describe the park as "disgusting trashy," with "strays everywhere" and poorly maintained common areas like "tall grass." There are also serious allegations of misrepresentation regarding rental units, including issues with size, missing appliances, lack of basic utilities like heat, and highly negative experiences with management regarding refunds and billing after vacating units. It appears there may be a significant discrepancy between the park's advertised image and the actual experience reported by some former residents.
Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park is located at 180 Doyle Dr, Albertville, AL 35950, USA. This location places it within Albertville, a city in Marshall County, Alabama. Albertville itself is part of a broader region known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities, particularly around Lake Guntersville.
The park's official description notes its convenient position "just miles from Boaz and Guntersville," two other significant towns in the area. This proximity means residents and visitors have relatively easy access to a "variety of activities to fulfill all of your needs," including shopping, dining, and local events in these nearby communities. For outdoor enthusiasts, the area is rich with attractions such as Short Creek Falls and, most notably, Lake Guntersville State Park, which offers opportunities for "hiking, mountain biking, swimming, boating, and fishing." These natural landmarks contribute to the potential appeal of the park's location for those who enjoy the outdoors. The park also mentions the availability of "local transportation such as buses," which could aid in exploring the city and surrounding areas, although the extent and reliability of such services would need to be verified locally. While the location itself offers access to regional amenities, it's essential for prospective occupants to visit the park in person to assess the specific accessibility and condition of the entrance and internal roads, as a consistent complaint across multiple reviews is the "horrible driveway."
Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park aims to provide a range of services for both its mobile home residents and RV guests. Based on information available through their website and general park offerings, the intended services include:
- Mobile Home Lot Rentals: The park offers lots for rent where residents can place their own mobile homes. This includes a monthly lot rent (e.g., currently stated as $265 per month in some listings).
- Mobile Home Rentals: The park also has mobile home units available for rent, described as being typically 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom units with included trash and lawn care, and appliances like a refrigerator and electric stove (though customer reviews indicate issues with promised appliances).
- RV Site Rentals: For recreational vehicles, the park provides sites with full hookups, which typically include 30 and 50 amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. "Pull-through sites" and "big rig access" are advertised for convenience.
- Pet-Friendly Policy: The park officially welcomes "furry family members," stating it is a "pet-friendly community" with a "2 Pet Max (Dog must be leased)."
- Lawn Care & Trash Service (for Mobile Homes): For rental units and possibly for lot rentals, lawn care and trash pickup are often advertised as included.
- Utility Access: Sites are equipped with essential utilities for both mobile homes and RVs.
- Online Payment System: A "Resident Center Login" is provided for making payments, indicating an effort to offer modern convenience for financial transactions.
- Potential Owner Financing: For mobile homes available for sale within the park, owner financing options (e.g., "$28K with 5% Interest - $10K Down") have been advertised, providing an alternative path to homeownership.
However, it is crucial to note that numerous customer reviews express severe dissatisfaction regarding the actual delivery of these services, particularly concerning the condition of rental units (e.g., lack of heat, non-functional electricity, missing appliances) and allegations of dishonest business practices related to refunds and billing.
Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park promotes several features and highlights designed to attract residents and visitors to its Albertville location. However, it is essential to present these alongside the conflicting experiences shared in customer reviews for a balanced perspective.
- Dual-Purpose Park: The park serves both mobile home residents seeking long-term living and RV travelers, providing a versatile accommodation option in the area.
- Access to Regional Attractions: Officially, the park's location offers proximity to natural beauty and recreational opportunities, including Lake Guntersville State Park (8 miles away), Short Creek Falls, and local craft eateries and pubs. Activities like hiking, mountain biking, swimming, boating, fishing, and stargazing are promoted.
- Pet-Friendly Environment (Official Policy): The park is stated to be pet-friendly, allowing residents to bring their dogs and other furry companions, a significant feature for many individuals and families.
- Variety of Site Options: For RVs, "spacious pull-through sites" and "big rig access" are advertised, aiming to accommodate a wide range of recreational vehicles.
- Path to Homeownership: For mobile homes, the park offers lots for lease and sometimes units for sale, with potential owner financing, aiming to make homeownership more accessible.
Important Discrepancies / Concerns Noted in Reviews:
- Poor Maintenance: Multiple reviews describe the park as "disgusting trashy," with "tall grass" and "strays everywhere," directly contradicting an image of a well-maintained park.
- Issues with Rental Units: Serious complaints about rental mobile homes include units advertised as 3-bedroom being "barely a 1 bedroom," no heat, half-functional electricity, and missing appliances (like a refrigerator) despite being pictured.
- Questionable Management Practices: Allegations of "evil money stealers" who "refused to give us our money back" after a unit was deemed too small immediately after viewing, and continued "sending us rent bills adding up to over $3k even though we emailed them and made it clear we left," raise significant concerns about management's responsiveness and ethical standards.
- Poor Driveway Condition: The entrance is repeatedly described as a "horrible driveway."
- Absentee Ownership: One review mentions the owner "doesn't even live in state and was always on fancy vacations when we tried to reach him/her," indicating potential issues with direct communication and local oversight.
These significant negative reviews highlight a critical divergence from the promotional messaging and should be a primary consideration for any prospective resident or visitor.

When evaluating Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park for suitability for Alabama locals, it's essential to consider both its advertised benefits and the significant concerns raised by past occupants. On paper, the park could theoretically appeal to locals for several reasons, primarily concerning affordability and location within Marshall County.
From a purely locational standpoint, being situated in Albertville offers residents access to a community that balances small-town charm with proximity to outdoor recreation, especially Lake Guntersville State Park. For Alabama locals who enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, and exploring natural beauty, the surrounding area provides ample opportunities. The availability of both mobile home lots and RV sites also offers flexibility for different living arrangements, whether a local is looking to purchase an affordable home or needs a temporary spot for their RV while working or exploring the region. The stated pet-friendly policy is also a plus for many Alabamians who consider their pets part of the family.
However, it is paramount for any local considering Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park to approach with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The numerous and severe negative reviews, detailing issues from the physical condition of the park ("disgusting trashy," "tall grass," "strays everywhere") to fundamental problems with rental units (lack of heat, electricity, misrepresented size, missing appliances) and highly concerning allegations of unethical business practices (refusal of refunds, continued billing after vacating), paint a stark contrast to any promotional claims.
Therefore, while the park's location might be geographically appealing for some Alabama locals, the reported conditions and management issues suggest that it may not be suitable for those seeking a well-maintained, professionally managed, and trustworthy living or temporary accommodation solution. Locals should prioritize an in-person visit to assess the actual state of the property and, if considering a rental unit, thoroughly inspect it and clarify all terms in writing before making any financial commitments. Relying solely on official descriptions without verifying the ground truth from recent customer experiences could lead to significant dissatisfaction.

Albertville Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
Most disgusting trashy trailer park I've seen in my life. This is the definition of trailer trash. Their website speaks so high of them its nothing like what they say. Theirs strays everywhere. Trashy trailers and every trailer area has tall grass. I don't live here i was just looking for a lot. The reviews here say it all.
Aug 04, 2024 · Litzy ChaviraZero stars. They promised us a discount on rent if we rented before viewing the unit. We decided to do it based on the pictures. The unit is advertised as a 3 bedroom. It's barely a 1 bedroom. There is 1 closet in the whole unit with no storage are cabinet space. They didn't provide us with a refrigerator even though one is pictured. There is NO heat at all. Nothing. Stay away!!!!! The electricity didn't work on half of the unit. So after we say the unit the very next day after paying we told them it was too small. They refused to give us our money back. They are evil money stealers. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT LIVING HERE. (Also, owner doesn't even live in state and was always on fancy vacations when we tried to reach him/her.) Trust me....DON"T DO IT!!!!!! Would be zero stars if I could. (3 months later after we left they are still sending us rent bills adding up to over $3k even though we emailed them and made it clear we left.)
Jul 08, 2023 · Richard DugasWe just recently moved and love it here. Very quiet and neighbors pretty much stick to themselves. They are doing lots of upgrades from what we hear and can see. Should be a very nice park when they finish
