Potential home owners in CCMHP. You will own your home and rent all of the land it sits on. You will be responsible for upkeep, maintenance on that land regardless of possible defacing, degrading, etc. Example: The road in front of my home was redone by company hired by owner meaning the asphalt and dirt was scraped off and replaced, After completion, I walked outside and tripped over the two inch gap between the new road and my walkway to my front porch. The gap was not there before the road was redone so i called management who told me the gap was there. I have pictures showing it wasn't, but after being dismissed and told I had to fix it, I did fix it as well as the entire front "yard" that was disturbed or messed up by the process. I did it at my expense for safety reasons and knowing ownership would be of no help.It was painful to look as well as a safety hazard. Some of my neighbors are experiencing a simiilar predicament and are being told "Fix It Yourself." This is a 55+ community filled with pleasant people. The location appeals to me. I was disappointed there wasn't any attempt to mitigate our situation. We deserve better.
Jun 10, 2025 · Lindathe only thing Canada Cove has going for it is its location. other than that, it's a dead zone. cold, unfriendly, anti social Cove Dwellers. for a senior living in HMB, i have come to find it remote and isolating. this town is desperately in need of a Medical Center, a decent shopping center, not just a Main Street that is nothing more than a Carmel Wanna Be . . . Not!!! In addition, rents are overpriced for a park that is shabby, unevenly paved roads and houses that are allowed to remain in a dilapidated state. Hoarders abound. Depressing Atmosphere. I've been here 25 years and it has not improved over time. Time To Move!
