Zooland Family Campground Reviews
Great place to stay. The kiddie pool was wonderful for my 5 year old grandchild. We loved the cleanliness of the bath houses. We were there during kid weekend and all I can say is my family was on the go from sun up to sun down all weekend. My grand child is already asking when we can come back before we pulled out of the drive of the campground. We will definitely be back for another weekend adventure! Thanks for all the fun summer memories!!
Jun 10, 2025 · Melissa GarnerEverything was great! Loved our campsite, had some tree’s on the one side of high made for great privacy. My son loved the playground and air pillow. The campstore had a good selection and I loved that they had events and movie nights! The laundry room was a life saver, as all of my children’s clothes got soaked from an open spout of the cooler 🤣🤦🏻♀️We celebrated our son’s birthday, went to the zoo, played on the slide (his favorite) and jumped on the air pillow. If he was older we might have gone on the water slide. We will definitely be back!
Jun 07, 2025 · Renae GasparinThis campground is awesome! The staff there are awesome! They are very friendly and very helpful! They will make sure your stay is going well. The location is beautiful! There is a river and a lake you can enjoy! There are hiking trails you can take. The place is clean. There are nice and clean pools, a playground, a jumping pillow, blow up axe throwing, basketball area, and an area you can play some putt-putt at. They had a really nice arcade! Their bathrooms are clean. They have a Bingo night and a movie night. Those nights are fun! They have a nice campground store. The campground is filled with many fun activities. We really enjoy it there! They have cool staff! Larry kept us entertained and helped us out a lot. He made sure we were all doing good. I am deaf and one of the staff knew how to sign and put in good effort to communicate with me. They are good people and we enjoyed talking to them! We stayed there last year and this year and had a bunch of fun! We had a wonderful stay both times!
Jun 03, 2025 · Kayla MillerLess than 10 min drive to the zoo. This campground was very clean, everyone that worked there was very nice. It has the cleanest bathrooms of any campground I have ever been to. We camped in a tent spot, and were equally close to nature and the bathrooms! Lots of kids playing and riding bikes during the day, and quiet at night during quiet hours! Great walking trails and a pretty stream with fun rocks! Would highly recommend for everyone! We did not get to check out the pool, but my kids really want to go back to go to the pool and slide! We will be returning soon!
May 28, 2025 · Lee Anne StilesFront desk staff was welcoming and friendly, and the campsites were really nice (though ours was admittedly flooded due to an ongoing thunderstorm system). We put swimsuits on and my toddlers splashed around in the puddles and had a great time anyway. That said, the amenities were nice and my kiddos particularly enjoyed the gem mining station and playground. WiFi wasn’t great, but it rarely is when camping so it wasn’t really a big deal. The jumping pillow is also a really nice feature. We didn’t get to partake in the swimming pool because of aforementioned thunderstorms, but it looked clean and well kept. We’ve stayed at another local campground for years and will likely be switching over to Zooland for our upcoming trips.
