Yucaipa Regional Park RV Campground Reviews
Large pull through RV campsites. Proper hookups. Nice hiking trails, good fishing spots though we didn't catch anything
Apr 11, 2025 · Anne & Josh PoissantWow pretty cool spot, pool area we got there at 7:30am to be 3rd in line. Opens at 10-4pm. Definitely do the water slide pass .Camping with our RV was great. There is no fire pit unfortunately just a BBQ that we used as one. Fishing was cool and my son caught his first fish. We definitely will be going back and most likely gonna rent a RV there.
Jul 25, 2024 · Timothy LiskaVery pleasant and fun sight. Stayed in a group site that held 3 rigs very well. Park was very clean with a good amount of facilities. Besides your camping fees, you are going to be charged fishing fees and water park fees of $12 a person per day if you use them. That was disappointing and added over $100 to or stay. The fish cleaning facilities need repair. The fish that they stocked were about a pound a piece. I was told they do a supplemental stock of larger fish every once in a while. All in all, for camping and being located where it is, this was a nice spot. I wouldn't go just for the fishing but will definitely be back for the overall experience.
Mar 19, 2024 · Paul LorsonWe camped at Yucaipa Regional Park RV Campground at site 7 in a 36’ 5th wheel camper. The campground is about 5 miles from the interstate exit with few turns. Check in was easy and the staff at the gate was very friendly. The gate closes at 4:30 so one must have a code to enter after that. Campground roads are easy to maneuver but in a few places have very large bumps where the tree roots have damaged the pavement. Some sites also have the damaged pavement with large bumps due to tree roots. There were no low hanging branches over the road or sites. Our site had the sewer connection directly in front of the power connection and the sewer cap was missing. Our driveway/pad was asphalt and very long. There was a large concrete pad for the picnic table but it was quite forward of the connections. If one pulled forward so your camper is adjacent to the pad then you would need a pretty long sewer hose. Our grill was loaded with ashes and the site had the most litter of all the campgrounds we stayed at on a 6-week trip. In 4 days I never saw a host or park ranger in the campground even though there were park ranger trucks at the entrance. If sites were ever inspected by staff maybe they’d replace missing sewer caps and clean up the site and grills. There was a group fire ring close to our site and it was full of trash. I had 2 bars of cell service with AT&T and there were 35 OTA channels on our TV. Our site was close to Oak Glen Rd, the road you enter on. It had a surprising amount of traffic noise. If this is a concern then a site in the north loop might be a better choice. There is a nice amount of room between most of the sites. When walking through the campground it seemed that most of the grills were loaded with ashes and some trash. Lots of the campground has what appears to be ant colonies but I didn’t see much ant activity until my 4th day when a gazillion ants were all over the pad below my pass through and later appeared in my bathroom, ugh. This campground has some sites that I would call “group pull through sites” or “buddy sites”. They are longer pull throughs with 2 or 3 sets of camper connections spaced evenly. We paid $40 a night for full hook up plus a $7 online reservation fee. I would stay here again because it is close to the interstate and there is a lot to do in the area but the place can sure use some clean up.
Jun 01, 2021 · JamesI would have given it 5 stars, but there was a tremendous amount of trash in our camp site from previous campers. We stayed in the group tent area.
