Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park West Georgia Reviews
So I never leave reviews but after reading all the negative reviews on here I had too. We spent a long weekend here with our family and stayed in a cabin. It was well stocked and clean. The park itself wasn’t as big as I thought it was going to be BUT their activities director kept everyone busy. Over all we had a wonderful experience.A few things to note: we wished the WiFi worked it was so overloaded while we were there you couldn’t stream a thing. Not a huge deal but worth notingI also wish ant spray would have been stocked in the cabins. I understand that this is camping and bugs are part of it but waking up to a sink full of ants wasn’t ideal. My biggest concern was the top loft windows on the cabin it’s set up with two twin mattresses but not really adult friendly our little girls loved it up there BUT if you have windows that open especially that high up having no screens seem like a safety concern.Having said all of this this little park wasVery family friendly the staff was fabulous and they are in the middle of expanding the park and the amenities offered. I hope their new amenities not only cater to small kids but teens as well. Overall a wonderful experience for something close to homeAndWe will be back $
Jun 24, 2025 · Elizabeth SmithOur little family had the best time here at the Yogi bear Jellystone park located in Bremen, GA! The location was peaceful. There were so many fun filled kid and family activities throughout the entire days! We stayed in one of the cabins here, and it was very accommodating! The staff members here, especially Roger Manning, were amazing and so friendly to our whole family! True southern hospitality! Definitely recommend this camp ground to any families looking to find a nice little getaway. Thank you to all the staff members who made our first time here extra special. We will for sure return!
Jun 05, 2025 · Amber KeenerI enjoyed camping here with my family but the campground definitely needs some upgrades. My main complaint was the noisy construction in the early mornings while camping. It was very annoying and not peaceful like I wanted. I think rather than using tons of money to expand the campground, they need to use that money towards upgrading the amenities, larger bathrooms, better activities for the kids, and overall cleanliness of the campground. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating so I did appreciate that
Jun 30, 2025 · Marcie GatesWe stayed there for Mother's Day weekend (my idea, husband thought I was crazy, but I'm a Gen-Xer and was charmed by the idea of seeing Yogi!) and were super impressed. We were within a 45 min. drive of 6 Flags and had grocery stores nearby. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and would go out of their way to help. My 3 teenagers all had a blast. I told my husband if it was any less cheesy and nostalgic I would have hated it. It rained the entire time, but they had plenty of indoor activities that were fun for all! Two thumbs up to the staff for being thrown a curve ball with the rain and still making indoor adjustments.
Jun 24, 2025 · Lauren LucasBeen here a while now leaving soon. I’ve read the reviews from others before I booked. People it’s not that bad. Yes it does seem they’re spending money on other things and have turned there backs on the existing park but I truly believe that this is not the staff at the parks fault at all it’s higher up.It does seem that someone some where is getting the message because you can seerepairs being made everywhere. The roads going in and around the campgrounds are rough and the trees do have roots all over but that what trees do. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Nice laundry room. Nice size dog park people need to clean up after there dog.The amphitheater is sloped but so are movie theaters that’s so your not looking at the back of some else’s head which makes since right? Not sure if they showed movies or not while I was there. Looked like the putt putt course was being repaired was a few people playing putt putt. The activities while I was here ran on time on the days it didn’t rain. On Saturday the hey hey hey ride went through the kids had water gun shooting water at campers and most campers where using there hose to wet the kids back. Train ran while we were there. Pieces of the train were not parked all over. I don’t have any kids so non of that mattered to me. But I am going to get me a tie dye t shirt. There does seem to be a lot of golf carts parked all over. The staff and park office people were really great. The pool was clear as a bell but cold.Once again I do not think the problem therehaving is the staff. It’s higher up
