Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jellystone in Knightstown, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! Firstly, the owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. They even upgraded my site due to weather concerns, which truly showed their commitment to guest comfort. The process for renting a golf cart was seamless, making it easy to explore the area. The campsites were beautiful and well-kept, and the staff was all incredibly welcoming. My family felt very safe throughout our stay, which is so important when camping. There was no limit to the fun activities available, and everything we needed was right at the campground. If we forgot any essentials, we could grab them quickly without a hassle. The owners took the time to show us around and even joked with me about how much wood I was burning for our campfire! Overall, I can say that the people at Jellystone are excellent, with great energy, making it a safe and fun place for families. Best of all, it was very reasonably priced. I can’t wait to return!
May 19, 2025 · Devon MurphyIf you are looking for a "Jellystone" that your kids will enjoy and be talking about months after you leave this is NOT the place to go! I advise you now to choose another campground. These are some reasons why: we were there for 3 days in the middle of June and there was NO ONE there other than their permanents/seasonals. Everything was shut down or turned off. Pool closed (it was clean nice blue water), jump pad deflated, hey ride not running. The person running. It was Michelle. super nice lady but would not keep things open. You continually had to ask her for things to be open. Unlock pool, inflate jump pads. There is very low water pressure. Unable to shower in our motorhome because of it. We went to the showers...clean, but old. The lack of a shower head was disturbing, just the pipe no shower head. Then you have to continually press a button to have the water come on. It's a push button. So water keeps turning off. Hard to shower when the water keeps turning off. The Internet was spotty at best! The laundry facilities are less than user friendly. You have to use your credit card and set up an app to use their washer/dryers. I tried multiple ways to use the washer with the app and machine. I was unsuccessful and now have $30 in charges to my credit card that i wasn't even able to wash my clothes. Told Michelle of this and she said that was odd and would try to help us if we wanted to try again, but at this point was fed up with it. Too much of a hassle for something that should have been so simple. Also after we checked out we noticed you are CHARGED to use the blow up jump pad extra money. That is not always running, and my kids have to go around to find the lady to use the pad. Just ridiculous this is a Jellystone!!!! I have been to multiple Jellystones and never was so unpleasantly surprised. The sites are large and clean. All are gravel! Speaking of gravel there is a golf cart dragging some type of grate to scuff up the gravel. It is extremely loud and he did this for Atleast a good hour. Very disruptive to the camping experience...and rude for the guest to endure that for such a long time. The other Jellystones the jump pad is included in your site fee. We were never TOLD about the additional charge for a jump pad that is not always on. The pool opens at 10 and closes at 5 in PEAK SEASON..that is IF someone unlocks the gate to the pool. So if you are someone that like to take your kids to the pool after dinner, it is already closed after 5 in the middle of June. We also wanted to add our Jellystone reward number to our reservation , there was no option to add the number at the time of booking. we told Michelle but she was uncertain on how to add it and was not hopeful it would add and stated we may have to use our receipt afterwards and contact Jellystone rewards to get it applied. AGAIN something else I have never had trouble with at other Jellystones. In myopinion take the time to drive to another Jellystone don't waste your time.
Jun 12, 2025 · Christy SmithWas a great stay for the weekend with our 5 year old. He had a blast, and we had fun watching him enjoy his first ever camping trip. We stayed in the Wagon Rental for 2 nights. We loved it. The wagon was an interesting way to experience camping. My wife and I have camped many ways over the years from rustic to luxury. This was a new experience for us as well.Everything was great. The activities for the kids kept them entertained, and it was Dino weekend, so that had our sons interest.I would recommend future improvements to the bath houses. They are a bit cramped, and having to hold the water button in to give my son a shower was an adventure in itself. The pool could use more space as it was very crowded over the weekend. Plus, with no life guard, it was hard to keep order in the pool with the larger kids. The staff was amazing, special shout out to Cameron (who my son shyly refused to dance with but dad spun her & for all her help with activities.), Michelle (you were so helpful in our adventure in everyway.), all three bears Yogi, Cindy, and Boo Boo.
Jun 29, 2025 · Jason TurnbillCanceled 4th of July reservation 4 months in advance due to direct family member in ICU for two months and was ghosted about getting $25 res fee returned. Four phone calls and a few emails. Nothing from them. Lady on the phone was nice and understanding but she had to forward to management and they ignore me. $25 fee to them for absolutely nothing and will surely fill that holiday weekend. Pure greed.
Apr 06, 2025 · Kevin MGreat camping place for kids! Will definitely be back. Lots of activities, different types of camping styles, great entertainment.
