Woodlawn Resort & Campground Reviews
Beautiful campground, well spaced out campsites. The beach is beautiful. They have a long dock as it it shallow, with slides and a lily pad for kiddos to play on. Scott is super friendly, energetic and helpful! They offer bait, ice and wheel barrels of wood. The cabins are very cute and rustic. The bath houses are a little bit dated, but do the job. If you’re looking for a small, safe family owned campground, that’s fairly quiet and right on the lake I highly recommend this place to everyone!
May 10, 2025 · amanda loeschCampsite clean and well maintained short stroll to beach across the road. Playground had small child friendly things which was nice for us. Beach was sandy and has fun things to do. Our 2.5 yr.old enjoyed the Lilly pad. Shower house a bit dated which kept us from giving it 5 stars. Staff was very friendly tho!
Jun 11, 2025 · brigette bussIf you’re looking for luxury, there are other places to stay where you’ll be more comfortable. If you’re coming to Minnewaska to fish for a few days and need a place to eat, sleep, shower, and store your stuff? This place is great. All we needed was a place to cook dinner and lay our heads after spending all day fishing, and it served our exact needs. The beds were very comfortable, I slept great each night. It could be kept up a little better, but again, we were there to fish not hang out in the cabin all dayGot a decent fish cleaning station with running water. And the best part about Woodlawn? Location, location, location. The boat ramp is 5 minutes away, Glenwood is right up the road, there are a couple bars and restaurants nearby as well.If you can get past the dated cabins, you’ll have a great time just like we did. Scott and family are great people and were so nice to deal with
May 29, 2025 · Jared ArndtStep back in time when you come here. We enjoyed the Older look like your back at grandma and grandpas cabin on lake when a cabin was a cabin
Jun 07, 2025 · bigdaddy 1992The owners are friendly and so very helpful! We were there on a very warm weekend when the ac in our camper quit working. They worked hard and long to try to help us figure out the problem. When we couldn't fix the ac they ran and got us 3 fans to use. They bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of!Our children loved the swimming area with slides and also enjoyed the paddle boats and hydrobikes. Fishing was good. Our son was delighted to catch a good sized large mouth bass as well as a bunch of sunfish off the dock.We recommend this place!
