Camp sites are pretty distant. Basically carved into the forest. Fire pit and picnic table at each site. Camp host was helpful and nice. Sites are about a mile from the boat launch. Plenty of parking near launch.
Jun 03, 2025 · LoganikWe didn't stay at the hotel or the campground. We used the boat landing to be able to access the water and get to a nearby island. The landing is very nice, it's used by many people. There is a restroom there for use as well and if you walk to the opposite side of the landing you can also access the water and there's a nice grassy area. We've used this landing multiple times. Very convenient!!
Oct 15, 2024 · Heather MarieWooden frog is peaceful and so beautiful. We stayed mid October. They don’t take reservations. It’s first come first serve, but 6 of the available 61 drive in sites were available. They turn off water at the beginning of October, but it not a big issue as they have pit toilets that were clean enough. We loved this campground and would return!
Oct 18, 2024 · Emma BrownCamp sites with no amenities, highly recommend!!! Bring your boat easy water access
May 25, 2025 · Matt ThompsonI loved this campground. I know a lot of people won't think this is great, but you are not packed in side by side. There are lots of trees and privacy. There's no dump station or electricity, but there's potable water. There is a restaurant and boat launch close by along with picnic area and small beach.
