Killer Views: As one review mentioned, the campground "sits atop a mesa with a killer view looking North." This is arguably the most significant highlight. The elevated location provides breathtaking, panoramic vistas of the surrounding New Mexico landscape, perfect for photography and quiet contemplation.
Off-the-Grid Experience: The campground is truly "off the grid," meaning it's free from the noise, lights, and distractions of city life. This makes it an ideal spot for stargazing, as the lack of light pollution ensures an incredible view of the night sky.
Dog-Friendly: For many campers, a trip isn't complete without their four-legged friends. Wolf Hollow allows dogs, so you can bring your canine companions along to enjoy the wide-open spaces and hiking trails.

Basic but Functional: The campground embraces a minimalist approach. The "basics" are all here: picnic tables, a vault toilet, and a handful of spots. This simplicity allows campers to focus on the outdoor experience itself rather than the amenities.
Accessible for Medium Travel Trailers: While the campground is rustic, it can accommodate medium-sized travel trailers, as noted in a customer review. This offers flexibility for different types of camping setups.

Wolf Hollow Campground Reviews
Nice campground. Off the grid
November 09 · Paul BreedingWe checked this place out on our way to Snow Lake/Dipping Vat from Beaverhead Station. It sits atop a mesa with a killer view looking North. A handful of spots with picnic tables, a vault toilet. The basics. There were two small horse corrals. Someone was camped out up there with med. sized travel trailer. Didn't look a bad place at all to camp.
