This means traditional "promotions" or discount codes are not typically offered by the campground itself. The value and "special offer" of Winhall Brook come from its consistent quality, beautiful natural setting, and well-maintained amenities at a competitive price point for a public campground in Vermont.
However, certain aspects can be considered beneficial for campers:
Affordable Rates: With fees ranging from approximately $20.00 to $26.00 per night depending on the site (dry vs. electric/water hookups), Winhall Brook offers a very accessible and budget-friendly camping experience compared to many private campgrounds in Vermont, especially given its prime location and amenities.
Seasonal Activities: While not a direct monetary discount, the range of on-site activities and access to extensive trails (hiking, biking, fishing, whitewater opportunities on specific release dates) provide significant value and enhance the overall camping experience without additional fees.
Booking Window: The ability to book reservations up to 6 months in advance through Recreation.gov is a crucial "offer" for securing a coveted spot at this popular campground, especially during peak seasons like summer and fall foliage. This ensures that Vermont locals can plan their trips well ahead of time.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, availability, and specific booking policies, it is always recommended to check the official Recreation.gov or ReserveAmerica websites, or contact Winhall Brook Campground directly via phone.

Winhall Brook Campground Reviews
Our favorite Campground! It's a 3/4 "dry" Campground (bring in your own water and no electric) but a few sites with water/power on South side. But it's beautiful!! Spending our days outside in a wonderful location, bath houses are cleaned twice a day with large outside sink to wash any pots/pans you may have, grounds are kept maintained and we use the river to stay cool. Plan on campfires, good food, good friends and great memories!!
Jun 24, 2023 · Lauri MikkolaThis is, by far, our favorite campground visit of the year. The bathrooms/showers are kept clean. The water pressure is excellent and the water temperature is good and warm. Not quite hot. Everything is kept well mowed and trimmed. Scenery is second to none. Absolutely gorgeous. Cell service is spotty at best. Most sites are without utilities. But some can be had in the south loop. Dumping station is easy to get in and out of.
Sep 21, 2022 · James MinihaneAmazing little spot in the middle of nowhere Vermont! Loved our stay. Really appreciated the trash bag given to us by the lady at check in, very nice little extra. Loved the dish washing station at the bathhouse, really handy since they were no hook up sites. No cell service to speak of but that kind of the point right? Overall we loved our stay and would stay there again if we were in the area.
Jul 21, 2022 · Lori NosalI would have to say that this is the best campground in Vermont. The army corps do an excellent job in maintaining the grounds. The bathrooms have flush toilets free hot showers and are always clean. Every site is large and has great grass. We go camping here at least 4 times a year and have never had a poor experience. Choose to relax in either the Winhall Brook or the West River. Walk, run or ride your bike on the trails. Some sites have power and water. Some sites have a lean-to. Cell service is not great and that makes it even better. We haven't stayed in a terrible site yet (I don't think there are any). To wrap this up, Winhall Brook Campground is a dog friendly, family friendly campground, and a great place to unplug and relax.
Jun 04, 2023 · Dan RennoldsonExcellent campground with hot showers. The lean to sheds are very helpful for an extra bit of cover/shelter from the elements.Firewood for sale from the ranger or you can find it on the ground on the woodlands. The grounds next to the river are particularly beautiful!Highly recommended and we'll be returning next year!
