Winfield Campground Check-In Reviews
My family and I just spent a week at this campground in July. We had a terrific campsite. Nanette was so kind friendly helpful before and during our stay. Very quiet and private. We made some priceless family memories. We had a camper set up at our site from Todd Pollard he is awesome 👏🌟 We rented a pontoon boat from Clark’s Marina so nice too. My only request would be that the bath houses facility be updated and improved and more funding by to get them cleaner other than that perfect camping location. Wish they stayed open longer in the fall too.
Sep 12, 2024 · Catherine WarrenThis beautiful Army Corp of Engineers campground is CLOSED due to hanging trees, destruction and debris that resulted from Hurricane Helene. Cleanup has been indefinitely delayed due to insufficient funds.
Mar 31, 2025 · Eric VanekThis is a campground so not sure why hotel survey popped up. The host were very nice and informative. Beautiful campground very clean and well maintained. We loved our site. The only issue we had is with disrespectful campers who did not pick up after their pets and let them run off lease in the campground. We had 3 fur babies and were kept on lease and picked up after each time. I know some people feel entitled or just want to ruin the adventure for others and eventually will be denied of bringing pets along on trips.
Sep 14, 2024 · Alex MooreAwesome campground. All spots are water front and decent size. Bathhouse needs to be redone for better privacy in showers. Place is quiet and great views everywhere you look
Jun 18, 2024 · Garrett HiteWe are leaving today and have thoroughly enjoyed this campground! Staff is phenomenal! Great personalities and super nice! Clean bathrooms! Would have left 5 stars although site 36, which we would stay at every single time we came but big problem, there is no easy access to the water due to the drop off at the campsite. It is steep and very dangerous with rebar stakes sticking up. That was a real bummer although hopefully you guys will fix it before someone really gets hurt and tries to legally make an issue out of it! If it weren’t for that, this site would be total perfection! ❤️
