Jul 06, 2025 · Loretta BernardiWe just spent 8 days at Wildwood with some friends in our RVs. The new owners, Travis and Kay, are wonderful. We were guided to our spot which was spacious, the garbage was picked up very quickly, the campground was clean and beautiful. Travis checked on us regularly to make sure our stay was going well. Also, when we first checked in we had an electric problem at the box and he quickly fixed it. I can’t say enough good things about the park. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again.
Jun 27, 2025 · Kim EdsonWildwood actually surprised me with its convenient location and deep woods feel. I stayed in a dry campsite and was really pleased when I arrived at the site by the sense of peaceful seclusion and the gorgeous Redwoods surrounding it. The site was spacious and could accommodate several large tents with plenty of room for gear, bikes, wetsuits and supplies. Water is located just a short walk away and bathrooms/shower not much further. A hiking trail that drops you into the forest is just a couple of campsites away and is worth checking out. I even took my mountain bike down it and managed to find a short climb that ends up being a short but sweet descent back down to the main trails. The staff from the maintenance guys to the camp hostesses were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Being only a few miles from Ft Bragg and 30 miles from Willits I was always able to explore the coastal biking trails, ocean fish, snorkel and obtain supplies. They have lots of large RV sites up top as well as powered tent campsites. The place is clean, unique and well laid out and could not be in a better location. I will be returning back again and wish i had found this place years ago. I could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Wildwood.
Jun 24, 2025 · C JWe loved our RV space under the trees! The campground and facilities were clean and quiet. Kay and Travis went out of their way to make us feel welcome, with Travis going above and beyond by helping us with a truck issue we were having when it was time to leave.
Jun 30, 2025 · Lisa GalleguillosThe BEST camping I have experienced! I got a call from Vicky late morning inquiring about my approximate arrival time. Not thinking much about it, I give her a time. Well, upon check in, I now know why. Travis (the owner) lead me to my site, came back to my window and said he was going to guide me back into the site (another staff member) Jessie was in the back. Within 10 minutes, I was positioned. Travis asked if I was satisfied with positioning, HELL YES! I didn't have to get out once to check my positioning like if I was going it myself. The site was raked clean, complimentary first nite firewood (with kindling) was in the fire pit. The site (along with others) had a garbage can with liner. The garbage can WAS emptied each morning by Damon (who also sells firewood). Bathrooms are VERY clean and cleaned each morning. If Travis was driving through and saw you, he would stopped and inquired if there were any issues. He he also stopped working from what he was doing with his crew in rehabilitating a area that use to be permanent sites as I was watching to talk to me. Did not get the feeling or impression that I was being a pain in the butt. I actually broke off the conversation so that he would get back to work. From Vicky, Kay, Damon, Jessie, AND Travis they truly care about your experience at there park. This is DEFINITELY a place I will be returning too. The whole park is clean. The other plus is that they have a common area with a huge fire pit where they have activities (oh,yea, basketball hoops through the park.
