The clear directions and established roads make it easily accessible for all types of vehicles, from cars with tents to larger RVs.
Wildhorse Campground prides itself on offering superior services and amenities that significantly enhance the camping experience, particularly for those attending events at The Gorge.

- "Tree Row" for Tent Campers: This specific section is highly coveted for tent camping, providing shade and a more appealing atmosphere. Its popularity means campers need to be vigilant about booking when sites go on sale.
- Professional and Friendly Staff: The dedicated staff ensure smooth operations, provide assistance, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere, going beyond typical volunteer-run sites.
- Power Bank Charging Stations: The free charging stations are an incredibly practical amenity for modern campers, ensuring phones and other devices remain powered throughout their stay.
- On-Site Food Convenience: Having food options directly at the campground means campers don't have to leave for meals, saving time and effort.
- Vibrant, Yet Controlled, Atmosphere: While it caters to concert-goers, the enforced rules mean it avoids the excessively wild reputation of some other Gorge camping options, striking a balance between fun and order.
- Pet-Friendly: Although not explicitly detailed in reviews, the "people friendly" aspect often extends to well-behaved pets, allowing furry companions to join (always confirm specific pet policies).

Wildhorse Campground Reviews
Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're going to the gorge, don't bother with anywhere else. They do have quite hour restrictions a bit stricter than on site, so if you are looking to stay up all night going hard, I'd avoid it. Otherwise it's run by friendly people doing their job rather than volunteers, has excellent facilities and friendly people. The food isn't necessarily spectacular, but it's as good if not better than anything Ive gotten in other campgrounds. Tree row is by FAR the best if using a tent, but you will need to find out when they go on sale and refresh, as they go FAST.
Jul 05, 2025 · J KimballThis place is a gem when it comes to camping at the gorge! It was our first time camping here.Pros: Their staff is so friendly and on top of the grounds maintenance. Showers were clean and always had hot water, he portable bathrooms were cleaned almost daily, and quiet hours were enforced which is a godsend after being at shows all day. Definitely an older crowd here compared to the gorge venue campground. The biggest plus of this place is is the free rechargeable stations for your power banks and the food options!Cons: Only con is that the spaces are smaller than the gorge campground sites, and some are at an angle so its unclear where the sites start and end. I would prefer to pay more for larger sites at the tree line than what was provided... We made it work but didn't have a ton of room for more than two tents.100% will be booking here again for future shows.
Jun 25, 2025 · KBest camping for the Gorge. The staff have been there for decades the ownership is breathing new life into an already functioning system. Good people through and through….happy smiles, happy people all around. The place resonates with fun, adventure and freedom to be yourself. It’s a wonderful place!
May 27, 2025 · Andy DevineWildhorse is amazing! The owners and workers are all very friendly. The grass is no joke, it’s so soft and fluffy. The showers always have hot water and I appreciate that the quiet hours is taken seriously and enforced. I’ve been going here for almost 10 years now and can’t recommend it enough!
Jun 24, 2025 · Jennifer McNultyI love camping at Wildhorse! I’ve been coming here since 2016 and every time it feels like a home away from home. Soft grass, (mostly) clean porta-potty’s, and access to coffee and hot food are much appreciated. The vibes are the camp are always wonderful, the food is delicious and having access to a shower is incredible! Plus, having a shuttle take you to and from the show, ya can’t beat that. The only thing I wish was different was being able to camp here even if there isn’t any concerts going on. Can’t wait to come back!
