Wilderness Ridge Reviews
Amazing place to stay! My friends and I stayed in the old log cabin and we had a great time. The owners take very good care of the cabins. The only down side is there is no bathroom in the cabin. But that's like a lot of places. We will definitely be going back!
Sep 07, 2016 · JamieRustic and quiet grounds, not a party campground so good for the family. Nancy and her staff are some of the most genuine and friendly people you’ll ever meet. The section of the Big Piney that they serve is a relatively calm paddle suitable for kids.
Jul 08, 2019 · Kevin CoughlinGreat camp spot. There's a beautiful float and a bluff you can take beautiful pictures at! Shower houses are not great, but it's the country baby!
Jul 01, 2023 · Tiara PricePretty cool little spot. Camped 2 nights at their campground and went on the “7mile float trip” with a few friends. The float was much shorter than we thought. We completed it in 4 hours with canoes including about and hour of stop time. You could definitely float the whole thing in a day without paddling. Lots of small mouth to fish for. The place is pretty loosely ran and a little unorganized. They also only take cash and it was a little pricier than I expected. The river is beautiful though and the camp showers were a very nice touch (there is hot water). Campsites are pretty close to each other so not much privacy. Pretty chill atmosphere, definitely not a party float type of place. The staff was very friendly
Jul 25, 2023 · Huston SpellmanOur group had a great time spending labor day weekend here! Nancy was incredibly kind and helpful both during the booking process and our stay. Her camping grounds were quiet and clean with bathrooms super close which is always a bonus. The river itself was gorgeous with plenty of places to dock during float trips and moved at a reasonable speed. We highly recommend Wilderness Ridge Resort and look forward to coming back!
