I stayed at Wild Hudson Valley's Eco Camp at the end of May for research and to support a forest farming workshop led by Anna and Justin. The tent I stayed is was so clean and cozy, and the site is peaceful and beautiful beyond belief! There are tons of trails through the woods and along Catskill Creek, plenty of open space for parking, outlets and tables for working and cooking, and really clean bathrooms and showers! Anna and Justin are also so communicative and friendly--I can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend staying here :) - nat burr

Promotions or Special Offers

However, the structure of their offerings often includes built-in benefits that serve as compelling "special offers" for New York residents and visitors:

  • Workshops Included with Stay: A significant promotion is the inclusion of admission to all on-site nature walks and workshops with an Eco Camp reservation. This means guests gain access to valuable educational experiences—such as mushroom walks, wild edible plant workshops, and forest farm tours—without additional individual ticket costs, significantly enhancing the value of the camping experience.

  • Morning Coffee Service: The complimentary morning coffee with local milk is a delightful perk that adds comfort and value to each day of your stay, often not found at basic campgrounds.

  • Personalized Experience: While not a discount, the limited number of campsites (only four on 95 acres) inherently offers a more private and personalized experience. This exclusivity and the attentive nature of owners Anna and Justin can be seen as a premium offering that enhances the overall value.

  • Family-Friendly Value: The camp is explicitly family-friendly, and while specific child discounts aren't detailed, the range of activities and included workshops provides significant value for families seeking engaging experiences for children in nature.

  • Early Booking Advantage: While not a "promotion," securing your reservation in advance, especially for popular weekends and during their seasonal operation (Memorial Day to Labor Day), ensures you can experience these unique offerings, given the limited number of sites.

For the most current details on pricing, availability, and specific workshop schedules included with a stay, prospective campers are encouraged to visit the official Wild Hudson Valley website or contact them directly.
