White Fox Campground Introduce
Hello, fellow Minnesotans! If you’re yearning for an escape into nature, a peaceful retreat under the stars, or an active adventure amidst our state's beautiful landscapes, White Fox Campground might just be the perfect destination for your next outing. Located within the scenic Myre-Big Island State Park in Albert Lea, this campground offers a distinct charm and a host of amenities designed to make your camping experience enjoyable and memorable.
White Fox Campground is not merely a place to set up camp; it's an integral part of the larger Myre-Big Island State Park, a natural treasure that beckons outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. Unlike some more densely wooded campgrounds, White Fox is known for its more open sites, providing a different feel with ample space to relax and enjoy the prairie-like setting. This makes it an excellent choice for those who prefer more sunlight, a clearer view of the sky, or easier maneuvering for larger RVs. Whether you're a seasoned camper looking for a new spot to explore, or a family eager to introduce yourselves to the joys of the Minnesota outdoors, White Fox Campground offers a welcoming and well-equipped environment for your adventures.

White Fox Campground Reviews
When we arrived at the campground we stopped at the office to check in and buy firewood. We were told to go forward and around a curve to the campground, we drove around forever (close to an hour) without finding the campground (going back to the office twice to ask directions again) and finally we stopped and asked some random people that were sitting in their car how to get to white fox campground, we had been pointed in the opposite direction by the person in the office. We finally found our spot. I was in Albert Lea to visit my daughter, I was almost 2 hours late. But the campground itself was nice.
Jun 29, 2022 · Dawn ZimmermanThe state park has improved some since I got kicked out for no reason. Still won't camp there, to many snobs! And they don't like cats!
Jul 02, 2024 · Lady with Crazy CatsNeighbors to the campground were shooting late into the night. We were told there is a skeet shooting range nearby. Would not stay here again.
Aug 22, 2023 · Daveen WhitneyJust passing through for an overnight. Clean restrooms, and friendly staff. Might have been a 5 star, if it hadn't just rained, so it was muddy.
May 28, 2021 · Jim KnollPerfect overnight for our travels Eastward. Helpful Ranger, clean and spacious sites.
