Westport Beach RV Park and Campground Reviews
Westport Beach RV Park & Campground has always been a very special place for me. My fiancé and I had decided to have our wedding at our favorite place in the world. I have been coming to Westport Campground since I was probably about five years old. My children grew up coming here. My dream was to have my grandchildren visit this beautiful location as well. Today. I spoke to Kathy who works at Westport and is in charge of booking weddings, and special events for large groups, Kathy made my experience Very disheartening. She did not make me feel welcome. She actually made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her by booking my wedding at Westport. I hope the owners and managers of Westport. See this Message and understand exactly how the people representing your company Make your customers feel you should definitely invest in training, your employees on how to treat customers, especially when dealing with special events. I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. So I’m sure this horrible experience was meant to either teach me something or to prevent something horrible from happening. Nonetheless, this experience will not ruin my future plans. We plan on moving forward with our wedding. Just not at my former favorite place in the world. Kathy has not only ruined this experience for me, but she has ruined. Any future experiences that we could’ve had. I will no longer be recommending Westport as my favorite place to visit. And we have recommended Westport to so many people, but today was the last day. Goodbye Westport, we had lots of wonderful memories.
May 31, 2025 · Rosalva GThis is a wonderful RV park next to a beautiful private beach where dogs could run, picnic tables set on the beach, and you can have fires on the beach at night. Sites had full hookup. I didn't see a community kitchen, and one thing I hated was the coin operated showers- $0.25 for 30 seconds, but site had full hookups so we just showered in RV. If you're looking for a full hookup site with campfire pit right next to the beach, Westport RV beach is for you.
Jun 08, 2025 · Big JimWe stayed here 7 years ago and loved it. We finally came back and were greeted by the rudest check-in staff I’ve ever met, particularly the woman with the glasses. We didn’t drive 5 hours away to have to deal with a sour attitude the second we arrived. We won’t be coming back. A word of advice to that particular woman: nobody chose this job for you. If you don’t like dealing with the public, find another job. Or at least take a day off and come back with a better attitude.
Jun 20, 2025 · David KrumwiedeBeautiful spot, all sites are within walking distance of the secluded private beach. We stayed in cabin 13 by the rest of our party that rolled in campers. We usually roll out our rig too but decided to try the cabins to make it a quick trip. It was sticky. Not sure how to explain other than anything you touched like the door knob, plastic covered camp mattresses to the refrigerator. These cabins need a deep clean. There was hair in the refrigerator, the microwave was rusty (it still worked fine) and there was a good layer of filth piled along the edges of the cabin. I don’t mind sand, and we had our dog with us so I get the dog dirt. But the bottle cap? Me having to go to the office to borrow sanitation wipes? They seemed surprised saying it was just cleaned. Flipping a mattress and sweeping is not a good cleaning between guests. Yuck. I felt a little better after wiping down the surfaces. Nothing to be done about the dirty exhausted floor rug in there. Just gotta wear your slippers or shoes inside while you embrace the suck. Bathroom had three showers. I used the last one at the end and had to bang the machine for it to choke down my quarters. Quickest two minutes I’ve ever had, but hey, we’re camping right? This is definetly a place where you want to roll your own rig. It’s nice they have full, and I mean full hook ups with cute light house power/water connections. Tent sites looked nice too but it’s a bit early (April) for things to be dried out. Small fenced in playground for the kids and a volleyball net you can rent the ball to use if you don’t bring your own. I really liked how quiet it was even though it’s right next to the road. The ocean drowns out all the traffic noise when there is any. All in all a nice tidy campground, cabins are just a bit on the gross side for the price of a coastal hotel room. No thanks.
Apr 14, 2025 · Amy SmithWe stayed near the Ocean in our Minnie Winnie RV. Wonderful views, great service, quiet and friendly neighbors. We will be back soon for my birthday.
