Nov 14, 2024 · Shannon FusselmanWe just recently spent 3 days here. It was a nice campground, good people, and plenty of activities for our 9 and 2 year old to do. They both loved the swimming lake. They are currently renovating the bath house, and the building that once had the arcade. So if you are going soon (Summer of 24) expect those to be out of service. That didn't bother us but it could be a problem for some people.
Jul 31, 2024 · Greg BrownI’m not one to write reviews often, but I feel obligated to warn others about the horrible experience we had at this campground. To put it bluntly, this place is a complete disaster.Dirty Lake: The lake, which should be the centerpiece of any campground, was an absolute mess. The water was murky, full of algae, and frankly, disgusting. It looked more like a swamp than a place for recreation.Trash Everywhere: As if the filthy lake wasn’t enough, there was trash scattered all over the campground. It was clear that no one cared to clean up or maintain the grounds. We found garbage near our campsite, and the dumpsters were overflowing. It was both unsightly and unsanitary.Unprofessional Management: The management at this place is shockingly unprofessional. They clearly have no interest in maintaining a pleasant environment for their guests. It’s obvious they’re just there to take your money and run. Customer service is non-existent, and any attempts to get help or answers were met with eye-rolls, excuses and fake police reports.Overall, this campground was a complete disappointment. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature, steer clear of this dump. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about its visitors and the environment. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Aug 19, 2024 · Erica WengerWe had a great stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the park was very clean.I’d like a better swimming area. The water is full of fish and mucky.Their Bathhouse is under construction so the only facilities are Portable Potties at this time.
Aug 06, 2024 · Shelly ArentDisgusting Lake: First off, the lake is a complete disgrace. It’s filthy, full of debris, and smells awful. What’s supposed to be a relaxing spot for swimming or fishing turned out to be an eyesore that we couldn’t even stand to be near. The water is cloudy and filled with who-knows-what.Litter Everywhere: Trash is literally everywhere you look. It’s like the campground has turned into a landfill. From beer cans to food wrappers, it seems like no one cares to clean up after previous guests. The lack of basic maintenance is shocking.Rude and Incompetent Management: The management here is beyond unprofessional. It’s clear that they don’t care at all about their guests or maintaining the campground. They’re just cashing in on the location and doing the bare minimum to keep it running.Do Yourself a Favor – Go Somewhere Else: This place is an absolute joke. It’s dirty, it’s poorly managed, and it’s not worth a single penny. We ended up cutting our trip short because we just couldn’t stand it anymore. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. There are so many better options out there that actually value their guests and take care of their facilities. This campground is a complete waste of time and money.
