Wapato Lake Campground Reviews
Very amazing place. Clean grounds and friendly staff. Ducks will come right up and say hello. The stockeye salmon were jumping like crazy when I went in late September. I was also the only tent camper when I went. Feels like paradise, on the edge of the Cascades. Two miles into 12 Tribes Casino, or Manson proper. The Link Transit stop is at the casino so you can take the free bus into Chelan or Wenatchee.

Aug 26, 2020 · Anna WhitfieldQuiet family friendly rv park. Most sites are not level but every site is short walking distance to the lake. The staff are friendly and the park is clean. Showers are a quarter for 2 hot minutes. Ice is available from host shack. No dump facilities but water and electricity are included in the RV sites. Tent sites are on nice grass. Lots of big trees for shade. We look forward to our next stay.
Jul 20, 2019 · Blake WagnerGreat time at Wapato Rv and Campground! Beautiful place on great inlet from the Columbia and paddleboarded a lot. Hosts very friendly and accommodating!
Aug 18, 2024 · Laura/Darren PaigeAs others have mentioned, the lady that runs this place is hard to talk to. She appears to not understand the questions being asked and gives answers like you're dumb. She is very strict and seems to be watching you to see when you step out of line. We had 2 sites and all others next to us were empty. She came to tell us our tent was over the imaginary line between the sites. Also we had 8 people (1 family of 3, one family of 5) and she said maximum 4 people per site and only 1 tent, less we pay an extra $20 for extra tent fee, but couldn't put more people on the site (still maximum 4). Was weird. Who cares? We had sites 9 and 10 and they are great - fire pit, on the water, under large willow tree. Kids played in the sand and swam right there. Shower costs $.25 for a couple minutes. Ice for sale. I went running, walking, and biking around the lake on all days there and it was fun to go through the orchard neighborhoods. One day a guy came to spray for weeds right along the waters edge---not sure that's legal!
