Wanderland Camping Reviews
Meeting and speaking with Jonathan was great! He was very informative and I enjoyed hearing about his vision. The accommodations were accurate and the surroundings are beautiful. A great place to rough it in comfort.
Mar 26, 2025 · James SuchEdit in response to owner reply- as of this morning when I posted this review, my reservation was not in fact canceled as it is suddenly now after posting this, nor was I able to actually get any kind of correspondence back. Take that as you will to whomever is looking to book here. I was still planning on staying here when we were actually able to reschedule our vacation, but won't be doing so after the difficulty in simple communication.I dont understand why it is impossible to cancel a reservation with them! I have sent several emails and texts with only 1 reply to tell me to cancel it online but it wont allow me to do so! Will be contacting my credit card company as this is ridiculous. 6 weeks notice to cancel I feel is more than generous, its not like I am waiting until the last minute.
Jun 01, 2025 · Paige LloydMy group and I had an incredible experience at Wanderland Campground! The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with lush greenery as far as the eye could see. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the tent we stayed in comfortably fit all six of us. Oh, and let me tell you about the bath house – it was simply stunning! Jonathan and his team were incredibly supportive and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Trust me when I say that this place is an absolute gem and should be on everyone's must-visit list!
Oct 04, 2023 · Si'mone LewisSuch a beautiful place! So much privacy per campsite that you felt solitude and peace. To have such attractively appointed tents on platforms, (with shelves and an ice chest) a personal privy PLUS a clean new bath house was a camping luxury! Kudos to the owners for this new concept of camping—- still rustic( not “glamping) but a big step up from my usual backcountry experience! Bring a backpack so you can easily handle the short, somewhat steep hike in. You won’t want to leave!
May 12, 2024 · Barrie StokesOn August 19th, I attended the Melody at Wanderland Music Festival at Wanderland Campground. I had not gone camping since I was a girl scout over 30 years ago, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jonathan Weston, the owner of Wanderland Campground. He was enthusiastic, kind, and very informative. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous!! There were various paths that could be taken to navigate the grounds. We were housed at site 2, which was near a brook. We had a swing, a hammock, and a fire pit. The tent was HUGE, and Jonathan was kind enough to provide us with cots. As a person who suffers from panic disorder, it was an ideal environment - very serene and quite beautiful. The sounds of nature helped me sleep like a baby. I woke up the following day feeling rejuvenated. I never considered including camping in my mental wellness toolkit; however, my experience at Wanderland Campground reminded me that being surrounded by nature is sometimes just as good as medicine. I'll definitely be going back!
