Wallashuck Campground Lake Red Rock Reviews
I've stayed at this campground many times so far this summer. No bad experiences. It is well maintained, with lots of trees, and the wildlife that live there. I've seen wild turkeys just trotting past my tent.I will be back and have recommended it to friends!
Jul 13, 2024 · Diane MeyerAnother beautiful Corps of Engineers campground. Electric sites $11 with America the beautiful pass. Reserving in advance is recommended however if there are any open sites you can call and reserve when you arrive.
Aug 16, 2024 · Rebecca LentsNice campground and lake. Bathrooms were nice. Several trails to use. Bicycle and walking. You are 2 miles from Pella if you are short supplies. Be sure to hit the bakeries. Beach looked good and boating. You are close to Knoxville, where you could take in a dirt track race.
May 31, 2023 · Thomas MooreGreat campground. Very good prices and very clean. Neat walking and bike path around the lake
Jul 05, 2024 · Alex MaretteVery nice campground for a family outing. Each lot had its own electric hookup, every block has a building with restrooms and showers which are cleaned and kept up daily. Staff are super friendly and helpful.I actually ended up there due to car troubles and stayed for almost a week while waiting on a local mechanic to fix it. Bought a fishing license and played around the lake for the most part of my stay. Enjoyed joking around with the staff whenever I seen them, along with asking a question here and there about the wildlife or area since I am from a different state and not familiar with the surroundings. The kids enjoyed the hot air balloon racing the one night and a 10 mile walk on the bike trail just outside the perimeter near the office.Even met a famous MLB player and his wife on one of the last days of my stay.
