Waldron Campground Reviews
Well shaded, spacious, and nicely kept campground. Bike paths and paved roads. Free dump station onsite.
Jun 16, 2025 · Nathan StewartHad an excellent time in a cabin here. Our cabin was adjacent to sites our family had reserved, so we were all together, which was great. The Kestrel cabin was just big enough for a futon, a bunk with a double mattress (a real mattress) on both top and bottom. There was a small table and seating inside as well as a wall unit for heating and cooling. It was clean, had a great patio, and opened up to a nice grassy area. The showers weren’t too far away, the bathrooms were clean, and everyone was friendly. The picnic area was great for our large group. Clean with plenty of seating and a serving table and huge fire pit (which we didn’t use).Great experience!
Jun 22, 2023 · Sarah LandonSpace 194. Nice park. Late September is a nice time to visit. Locals can actually get a spot. We would like higher fire rings, like many of the campgrounds. Safer around kids and seniors.
Sep 25, 2024 · Tony StagnerWe love this campground. Just be prepared. If you live out of state, you will pay double the rates. Also, I recommend you bring your own firewood. They have firewood for purchase but it’s getting a little expensive. Aside from that it is a beautiful campground. It is the site of an old navy training base. Right on lake Pend Oreille. Lots of hiking and biking. Highly recommend you make your reservations starting beginning of December. This is a very popular campground. There are some sites in Gilmore that have full hook ups and all of Waldron, there are three different campgrounds within Waldron, and they are all power and water. bring your doggies, your kids, your bikes and don’t forget your frisbees for the frisbee golf courses that are also add Farraguet as well.
Sep 30, 2023 · Tom NeeseNice Campground, but too expensive for non-Idaho residents. I doubt I'll be going back.
