Volga U Campground Reviews
This last weekend my wife and I wanted to try some place new for camping in are travel trailer. We decided to come here. Alot of the campgrounds are very busy around the Dubuque area. So we tried are luck here. We had 2 other couples meet us there as well with there campers. The Mayor of the town stopped in and introduced herself which we had talked to her earlier in the week. Cari (Mayor) was really super nice and told us all the town had to offer. We had also brought are 2 kayaks and told us where all the get in points where at. She was very helpfull. So they have alot of water and electric sites plus 2 full hookup sites. We definately will be going back. Not alot of trees for shade but I do like that it is pretty flat and the grass pads are great. The Volga River was great to kayak. The get in point is really bad over on Acorn Rd so hopefully here soon they can make it better. There are very large boulders of rock you have to walk down which is hard to keep your balance. Overall it was a great experience. 6-19-22
