★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We have stayed here twice. Once back in 2020 and loved it, it was Lazy Days then. We recently stayed in July of 2025 and it was awful. The river was lovely as ever but the attitude of whoever the manager is was terrible. She watched every single thing as if ready to get on to us constantly. My daughter and her friend was walking their dog just in the vicinity of the pool, outside of the gate and she let them know there were no dogs aloud in the pool. They were never going to go inside the pool gates. She also stared at us the whole time we were in the pool and yelled at one of our younger kids to not jump into the pool. When less than 10 minutes later one of her family members with a small child was aloud to do the exact thing he was doing. There were other incidents with her as well. The cabin we stayed it was not cleaned. Aside from the fact it was old and smelled very dank there was dirt all over the mattress cover and dead bugs/eggs all over the window seal and all over the floor. It obviously had not been cleaned in a long time. We will not be back and I would not recommended this place for camping or their cabins.
July 21 · Candy MannWe stayed in our RV and the place is small but spacious if that makes sense. They have a beautiful pool area that they're working on and the camp host is so welcoming and friendly. They also have a decent laundry room with coin opperated washers and dryers (Caution: No Change Machine!)With tubing just down the road and about a 20 minute drive to pigeon forge, it is a wonderful campground and you may even get to see a mama bear with her three cubs. They past our campsite one night. Too cute!
July 11 · Lizzie NilesWe have been here a few days now. Very empty campground and quiet. I couldn’t understand why this campground is not busy till I looked at the reviews.I have to say may reviews are false. One guest left negative review because he got yelled at for going 11 mph. Well there’s posted signs saying 5 mph. Yep it’s the parks fault. Also another review states sites are hard to back into. They must not know how to back up a trailer. I’m at site 45 on the river and would say that’s one of the most difficult spots to back into if not the most difficult. I did it with a 27ft trailer by myself with mirrors and a backup camera almost the first time. If my tires where not on the edge on the slab I would of done it the first time. Now I can say that the RV spot can be considered small in the that you have a 6ft wide concrete slab that separates you from the other rv spot.Seems like a lot of reviews are guest blaming the campground for there short coming.Only negative I’ve had so far if the cable tv hookup is not working.Nicely clean park. 45 spots great right on the river. Nice wooden decks. I would stay here again.
June 12 · joshua odomWe stayed in a riverfront full hook up campsite for one week in April. Electric, water and sewer hook ups all worked well. The sites are well spaced and nice. Listening to the river behind us was fantastic. We will be back!
April 22 · David ElmerOverall neutral experience at this campground. Like that it has a big deep pool and love that it also has a hot tub. Was kinda frustrated it got closed the moment it started to sprinkle even if it was a light rain, I could understand closing it if it was lightening. Owner kept the pool and hot tub very clean and well kept. The bathrooms are also very well kept and clean for what they are, campground bathrooms arent the most luxurious, showers are small tho, being a smaller women even I struggled and the water was always barley luke warm never hot. Owner did seem to "yell" across the campground alot for various reasons, wasn't needed and was rude. The spots are on the smaller side, I have a 20 foot camper and we needed to unhook and park the truck sideways infront of the spot to fit. Having laundry on-site was a big plus but doesn't have a quarter machine on site and they all run on quarters. Would like to have seen a trash can or 2 around the place, seemed like we had nowhere to throw our trash away.
