Union Falls South 9U5

Campground ★5.0

Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190, USA

5.0
Have been here twice almost three decades apart, it is magical. Plus you can see the falls on Google Maps overhead, so you can always check in on it. Last time there in 2018, had the good fortune to get engaged to an amazing woman and a Dept Interior employee on her first backpacking trip. Neither of us will ever forget that for obvious reasons. First people we saw the next day were two rangers in the A frame near the site, so for roughly 24 hours those two Rangers were the only people who knew. Also, don't miss out on the thermal fed swimming hole near the final split to the falls, great place to wash off after a long day hiking. - Richard McG
