★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stayed in a travel trailer for a few days in the Big Pine area. It's truly a magical place. The swim area is really neat with a pad to lay out on in the middle. Trails are great! I never had a chance to rent a kayak, but that is available. The lake does not allow big boats so it' peaceful. Lots of people fishing. Got to love the tall pines! They also have one of the best park stores I've ever seen.
April 25 · Trinity TraylerNicely spaced out RV slots with plenty of trees and well laid-out dining tables and fire pits. I believe all sites are full hookup. The location is perfect for hiking, biking and just enjoying the scenery. Depending on where you are, you may get a gorgeous view of the lake. However, most of Big Pine RV campground does not have a direct view of the lake. For a direct view of the lake, You can pick a site on Lakeview RV camp.
December 28 · Arun ArasanLove the park. We try to spend 2 weeks in the fall to catch the color change. We were not disappointed this year. I would've given the park 5 stars but the bathrooms are in serious need of updating. Hopefully with the passage of the Constitutional Amendment they will finally have the funds.
November 16 · Luther PayneBeautiful park. Gave 4 stars only because I didn't get to catch any fish. Rented out an RV site. Loved my location. Will do the one with the lake front next time
August 07 · Annie MayThe tent sites in Dogwood were great. Lots of tree-cover and just a short walk to the lake. The fire pit was excellent for grilling!
