Water is shut in winter but the main house is open for potty and showers, Close to a couple a ski areas. Summer is the best of course, with a good size pool and kiddies playground. the area has tons of activities, from Great Escape to mountain climbing, hiking, horseback riding and boating and swimming at the beach! Burlington in across the lake, quick ferry ride and Plattsburgh is a 15 min drive.
Nov 06, 2021 · Karen ThiessMy parents wouldn’t write this… but people should know how things have changed here.Yes it’s well located…But imagine spending decades renting space and post-pandemic having the owners threaten cutting electricity for a 5$ bill, change rules to take away the yearly fee and now calling it a ‘seasonal’ fee… no communication.. this was all discovered through others who went down and let them know.My parents have been there twice for a total of 4 days and seriously you couldn’t have better clients.I feel bad for them to be going through this after so long.
Sep 29, 2022 · B MartinI love the relaxed atmosphere and the natural surroundings. Hearing whippoorwills was a new thrill for us! Nearby is nice hiking, activities on the lake & great farm-to-table food venues. Many folks have been campers here for 2 & 3 decades - that's how comfortable & enjoyable it is.
