Twin Bridges Campground

4.0
We camped here over July 4th weekend for two years in a row and had a blast! The owners are so kind, and the layout of the campground is really great. We rented the 4 sites by the river for our group of 20, and everyone fit perfectly!Being next to the river kept the bugs away for the most part, and there's a river access spot with an eddy where we could soak during the day, even with the river running fairly high.New management took over a few years ago and has been vastly improving the property. There's a single portalet down by the river, and then there's a bathhouse with showers up top. The location is quiet, and it's only 20 minutes to Salida, which is such a cute little mountain town.We look forward to returning to Twin Bridges Campground for many years to come!! - Patty York
