Twin Bridges Campground Reviews
We camped here over July 4th weekend for two years in a row and had a blast! The owners are so kind, and the layout of the campground is really great. We rented the 4 sites by the river for our group of 20, and everyone fit perfectly!Being next to the river kept the bugs away for the most part, and there's a river access spot with an eddy where we could soak during the day, even with the river running fairly high.New management took over a few years ago and has been vastly improving the property. There's a single portalet down by the river, and then there's a bathhouse with showers up top. The location is quiet, and it's only 20 minutes to Salida, which is such a cute little mountain town.We look forward to returning to Twin Bridges Campground for many years to come!!
Jan 18, 2025 · Patty YorkSuch a beautiful place! Tons of shade trees, a nice little pond to picnic alongside, river access for amazing fishing, and all essential amenities. Mike is a wonderful host and fishing guide as well!
Nov 13, 2024 · Jeremy GomezCamped here for a few days in July. Awesome facilities, clean showers and restrooms and right on the River. Perfect spot to set up base camp if you’re looking to get after some trout. Lots of amazing water in the area. My favorite part about my stay was the fireflies! Awesome folks running this place.
Mar 11, 2025 · Mikey MurphyWe stayed at Twin Bridges Campground with a large group and had a great time. We rented 3 sites right next to each other, right on the water, so all you could hear at night was the flowing river... During the daytime we saw 3 different people catch fish right in front of our campsites while floating by, all in 1 day!!! Amazing, we didn't even fish, just saw lots of action right in front of us! Lots of trees for shade and space for yard games, etc... Great campsite! Highly recommend!
Nov 14, 2024 · StoutX XWe stayed in the campground in May and September and just realized I never wrote a review. Mike and Patricia are very helpful and friendly, they gave us great ideas of places to go get food and supplies. Twin Briges is a smaller campground and that makes it a serene place to stay.We really liked the spacing between sites that gave us alot of privacy. Very peaceful place to spend the week. There is nothing better than waking up to the sound of the river.Already booked for next year, we will bring my parents along and they can stay in one of the campers.
