TVA Pickwick Dam Campground Reviews
Spacious, clean, and pleasant views. Electric and water at our site, and an easy to use dump station at the park entrance. We enjoyed being under the tall pine trees and from our campsite watching barges pass by on the river. Dogs welcomed but must be on a leash. Take dogs to state park across the river to swim.
May 26, 2025 · Virginia WinbergNice clean campground, but not cheap enough given the facilities present. It is conveniently located to Corinth and the Shiloh Battleground Monument. Recommend that you call the campground to set up reservations rather than use the website. You can not make a web-based reservation two days prior to your visit. We arrived with no reservations but were able to get a site with no problem. The campground office staff were friendly and efficient. Be aware that the pulp mill is just across the Tennessee River and, under the right wind conditions, smothers the campground with stink. Would have given this campground a 5 if the rates were a little cheaper.
Jun 12, 2025 · Dymm WittA very clean and well-kept campground. The staff was very friendly. Has a small store with an ice cream freezer and limited essentials. The bathrooms are individual with shower, toilet and sink in each one. There's a boat ramp for people who fish, and fishing from the shore (license required). Some spots have shade. Most all have water and electric. A dump station is at the campground. The sites are fairly level. The negative is they don't honor the 50% off senior discount for those wirh the National Park pass. In late April 2025, the rate was $35 per night, they gave a $9 discount. Plus, there is a $5 non-refundable registration fee. Two night minimum stay required.
May 11, 2025 · Juanita ThouinThis is a great campground. The grounds are clean and beautiful. Not sure about the couple running the campground this year. Not as friendly as I remember from other visits.although they do excellent job keep it clean. Bathrooms are clean but not all are opened during our visit.
Apr 29, 2025 · Wendy LongLocation is pretty great, the place appears to be clean, if you're into gestapo style security and the smell of rotten eggs this is the place for you. Was just driving through scouting for a potential future visit for a 60 ft motorhome trailer combo. Stopped to let my wife check the restroom for cleanliness and was approached by their security very rude says if you're not camping there you're not allowed to get out of the vehicle, and he needed the name of everyone who passed through, stated security reasons. Hey Furor, if security is that big of a concern there maybe you should have a gate or perhaps the area should not be open for camping at all!!! AWFUL!!!! STAY AWAY!!!
