Promotions or Special Offers
Trout Run Camp Resort frequently provides various promotions and discounts, making it an even more attractive option for New York locals looking for value and flexibility in their camping plans. It’s always best to check their official website or contact them directly for the most current offers, as these can be seasonal and subject to specific terms and conditions. Here are examples of promotions they have offered or are likely to offer:
- Off-Peak Season Rates: Rates for all accommodation types (RV sites, cabins, lodges, tent sites, lean-tos) are typically lower during the shoulder seasons (e.g., April 17 - May 14 and post-Labor Day) compared to peak summer and holiday weekends. This provides a great opportunity for more affordable stays.
- Weekday Discounts: Often, booking midweek stays (e.g., Monday to Thursday) can yield significant savings compared to weekend rates, especially during non-holiday periods.
- Extended Stay Discounts: While not always explicitly advertised as a "promo code," weekly and monthly rates are available and are inherently more cost-effective than booking individual nights, providing savings for longer vacations.
- Membership Discounts: Trout Run Camp Resort is known to offer discounts for members of various camping and travel clubs, such as AAA, Good Sam, and Passport America. These typically require proof of membership at check-in.
- Military & First Responder Discounts: As a gesture of appreciation, the resort often provides discounts (e.g., 10%) for active duty and retired military personnel, firefighters, police officers, and EMTs. Proof of valid ID is usually required.
- Themed Weekend Specials: While not a monetary discount, the resort frequently organizes themed weekends with special activities and entertainment, which adds significant value to the stay without an extra charge. Events like "First Responders Weekend" may also come with specific booking perks.
These offers are generally valid for new reservations only and cannot be combined. It's highly recommended to contact Trout Run Camp Resort directly via phone or visit their website to inquire about current promotions and to ensure you get the best rate for your desired stay.

Trout Run Camp Resort Reviews
We stayed here this past weekend. We had a great time. The campground has many amenities and activities to keep the family busy. They have a heated pool which my daughter enjoyed; a fishing pond for the husband, and a huge dog park for our dogs to run free and play. Dog park had balls to play catch, and a spot for water. This campground has the best bathrooms I’ve ever seen, showers are large and clean! Loved the cafe for ordering food when we didn’t feel like cooking. The walk to the river down the nature trail was gorgeous. Everyone there was super friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that our campsite was out in the open and not very private; but you can choose your own campsite when you make your reservations. So, we scoped out the grounds so that we can pick a more desired site for next time. I also recommend booking a golf cart with your reservation. We made the mistake of waiting and since it was a busy weekend, there were none available. We will definitely be back. If you want an affordable campground with all the bells and whistles; this is your place. Highly recommend!
May 21, 2025 · Amanda ReedTrout Run Campground entered into a prepaid service agreement with us, which we honored fully by performing multiple on-site service visits. After the agreement's balance was exhausted, we continued to provide service in good faith, with the understanding that payment would follow. Each service was accompanied by an invoice reflecting the remaining balance and/or charges incurred. Over more than a year, we sent regular statements, past due notices, and emails notifying your team of the outstanding balance and applicable late fees—clearly outlined in the terms provided on each invoice. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response or payment, which ultimately led to the account being placed with a collections agency. We are always willing to review and clarify any account history. If you or your team would like to go over the documentation again, we are happy to assist directly.
May 20, 2025 · Linda WThe whole place gets 5 stars. We did the quad site. The setup was great, the staff is great, the service is top notch. Heated pool helped with the April weather we had for memorial day weekend.
May 29, 2025 · Brittany ScottCome here every year for river regatta and have the greatest of times. The owner and staff are awesome and so accommodating. So much has been done to resort. Great place.
May 18, 2025 · Brent KawskiWe enjoyed our stay. Property is well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Heated pool was big plus. The dog park is well stocked, clean and a good size. Firewood is priced reasonably and delivered to your site quickly. Campground rules are enforced which is a plus. Lots of activities for kids.
