Apr 22, 2025 · Melisa MillerAwesome campground. The owner is nice and helpful. They do have rv hook ups, but we went tent camping. The camp grounds itself is super nice, quiet and beautiful. If you love nature this is the place. We got to pick our our own spot right on the river. They have bathrooms and showers a washing machine, bbq pit, books, and firewood. Plenty of fishing in the river. Caught some good ones. I highly recommend and will be back.
Jun 06, 2023 · Vincent RousseauTrent River, a beautiful place to go any time of year. Plenty of wildlife and flora for anyone to review, deep flowing river fishing, open fields that feature an abundance of wild turkey and at night bear witness to the clearest view of the stars you’d ever find, Shady Forests surround the entire area taking you away and far from the roads sheltered by Pines, Oaks, and other deciduous trees. This place is absolutely stunning and still has magic every time you go. Forget what you’ve heard or seen in the reviews here about the bathrooms, you don’t go camping for a proper restroom. Although they have definitely improved over time and have hot showers (don’t find that everyday.). Other than the occasional cigarette but, this place is extremely clean too. There’s a residence area and a tenting area that are so vast in folks with great personality you can’t ever not have a cold one and a laugh. Place is very kid friendly too. Folks are genuine, Prices are fair. And definitely worth a visit. A great place to make your home base of operations if you’re looking for an escape from the fast life.Even if you’re not sure about the place, give it a try. You won’t regret it. Best fishing is between 6pm and 1am. Catfish are out in force. 18-24inchers are in abundance, you can land them all night. Bowfin, largemouth and brim are also lively out here, the cats smack hard on chicken livers and shad dip bait.
Jul 07, 2022 · Project Paleo ProductionsJust got home from a great five day vacation! Highly recommend the Trent river campgrounds spacious campsites reasonable rates. They have kayak canoe and Jon boat rentals. The river is deep enough to swim and clear enough to see the fish. Definitely will be back!
