★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We drove around the campground, it has 10 sites less than 30 feet long and maybe 5 sites which might accommodate up to 40 feet long. The pads seem narrow and have neither water, sewer or power on sites. There is a stand-alone dump station and a water spigot which you have to talk to the park hosts to get the key to.
June 16 · Julie PattenGreat, clean, campsite with fairly large paved sites with picnic tables & fire pits. There’s also 2 clean vault toilets, potable water spigots, and a boat ramp with dock. Three sites are next to the water but all have a view. The water is not great for swimming since it is overgrown with algae, but, it’s nice for boating, fishing, and kayaking. The reservoir is great for bird watching too. I saw a bald eagle catch a fish. Also some hawks, pelicans, and lots of birds I didn’t know. The week days are very quiet and peaceful. The weekend was noisy with the usual entitled knuckleheads who only care about themselves. Respect only goes one way with those kind of people. There is a bit of noise from hunting, 4 wheelers, and bikes in the area.Overall, big recommend. I will be back!
September 01 · Jack RondiniThere is no longer a thriving water area at Topsy Campground as of Jan 30 2024. Due to the dam removals, the watershed is gone, only a small stream remains. No water for the migrating birds, no water for recreation, the river smells of dead fish and dead algae. This area should be full of birds migrating at peak water flow season but there are NONE!! Terrible devastation!
January 30 · C FitzyVery tranquil and serene place to come rest & kick back, swim, fish, camp whatever you may be in need to do for a day, week or 2 weeks. Can't beat the price of $7 per overnight stay up to 2 weeks!!!
June 13 · Unique LoveI loved topsy campground. Incredibly priced at $7 a night. Very clean campsite. Dog friendly with doggie bags stations on both sides of the campsite. Lots of great fishing, kayaking and hiking. I will br coming here again and again.
