Toketee Lake Group Site Reviews
A fun place to group camp! The grass area did have some rall grass/weeds but was fine for cornhole
Jul 06, 2025 · Sarah OrsingherWe chose Toketee as our base camp while exploring the regions waterfalls and visiting Crater Lake. It was well worth it, and I hope to return again some day. Toketee is an expansive area - a perfect gateway/introduction to OR wilderness, a very well managed and kept campground with sites situated along an accessible creek, hiking trails through out were well established and maintained especially those to the magnificent falls. The only downside to the visit was probably seasonal travel related. We had planned to visit Umpqua hot springs, but each day there seemed to be a large group of people in all manner of RVs - makeshift caravans to massive mobile homes and (Might be more accessible during the off-season... we visited in August 2018). The parking lot at the trail head was a bit undersized for the number of vehicles trying to park, as well as to make their way in and out. Then again, it was probably more than adequate for the number of occupants that should be allowed up top at the hot springs. We took this as a sign of an over crowded anthill of sorts, and opted to take a pass. I hope that our next visit will allow for some relaxing time spent in the hot springs. The lake was easily accessible with an ADA dock. A well staffed Ranger Station and visitors center was also nearby and accessible.
Mar 30, 2019 · Michael RudisNicely located near many natural features in the regions of the Umpqua River, Diamond Lake, and Crater Lake National Park. If you can, try to pick sites well away from the bathrooms. >.
Sep 08, 2019 · Randy HogueThe only thing that could make this Campground better is water at the campsites. But this was more like when we camped as kids. 😁 Really liked it here.
Aug 03, 2024 · Kelly HutchingsNot bad... really dusty during summer and hot. Fun campsite but some of the spaces were small and hard to park in. Restrooms were semi clean but the tokatee trails were close to the campground so that was nice.
