Jun 22, 2025 · Thomas CoburnOnly legends stay in the new Glass House! I had the best weekend at Timberfell despite heavy rain storms. Great air conditioning, outlets and comfy bed. Clean facilities and I loved getting soaped up in those hot showers. Great night life, outdoor spaces and pool. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Wonderful staff who are welcoming and make you feel at home. The owner is very present and has a vision. They are working hard to make the resort/campground even better! You will meet a lot of new friends here. Just show up, be yourself and have a good time!
Jun 18, 2025 · Steven ConleyI have always enjoyed going to Timberfell but it sure is different, some good and some bad.Start with the good: the grounds are beautiful. The new owners have done a tremendous amount of remodeling and building and it looks wonderful!!The bad: unfortunately the maintenance is horrible. It appears that the circulation pump on the pool doesn’t work because water is not moving, it just sits there getting nasty. The bathroom at the pool smells horrible. The steamroom is now used to store vacuum cleaners?! The bathroom in the annex is filthy dirty. You can never find an employee. The gate is broken so you can just come and go as you want which is actually pretty convenient since there are never any employees around to help. They did build a “playroom” which can be a fun place…in theory. This one is so musky you can’t stand to be in it long and the booths are pretty much a joke. The lodge is pretty much abandoned with a broken down hot tub on the porch.I remember it was normal for employees to be all over the place asking if you needed anything or wanted anything. Not anymore, customer service is gone.I don’t want to sound mean but the owners are going to have to do better. Fix the stuff that is broken or sell the place to someone that will. Its a beautiful place but its not being ran like a business should be.
Jun 27, 2025 · Ed EdwardsMy husband and I just moved to Tn from the west coast. We’ve spent years going to CCR in Phoenix and we’re hoping for something similar.Overall the staff was friendly but not conversational nor particularly welcoming. As for the guests, after walking around checking out the place, one person said hello to us. We then changed and went to the pool. In 3 hour’s by the pool we said hello to several people, but no one really spoke to us.Overall, other than seeing a few Palm Springs bathhouse scenes as we were walking around and two BJs at the pool, the experience was disappointing. We weren’t there for sex or no one talking to people out side of their immediate group, so we gave it a 1 out of 5 and most likely won’t be back. While I appreciate the owner's response quick response, I don't appreciate the owners Donald response by calling me names. My initial comments were solely observations and personal opinions regarding whether the establishment met our expectations, not an attack or impugnment of its character. The owner's decision to resort to name-calling and deny points corroborated by multiple friends speaks volumes about him. Nevertheless, Timberfell remains beautifully situated with seemingly nice amenities and what appears to be a well established core group of visitors.
Jul 02, 2025 · Scott StephenWas invited down by a resident, loved seeing the different levels of the resort riding around on a golf cart. Had a few little events during my stay. The cookout was great, the various DJ’s around the pool and at the tavern was excellent. I loved seeing all the RV’s and their unique outdoor areas. Met so many wonderful people including the staff. I believe I’m coming back 4th of July weekend and looking forward to another great weekend getaway.
