May 14, 2025 · Natalia IvkinaCalled Brenda a month ago that my lady and I were making a trip to the coast. She told us the beach camping is limited to two vehicles. I was very clear we would be using a ground tent next to the truck and there is plenty of room to spread out. I paid the fee and traveled 3 hours to the destination. The property was rundown and right along the road but the views spectacular. We met Brenda and drove to our site and began to set up. She came back down and told us we had to move the truck because of 5 other tents that would be down there the same night and there is a “truck length limitation”. Our truck would also be blocked in by other campers. We left to find another place to camp. I disputed the charge and want to warn people of the terrible experience
Jun 24, 2025 · Christian AWill never try to camp here again. We went with Ocean Cove Campsite right next door, much more helpful and clear. Also cheaper.Booked directly with this site, got scammed. The host solicited a last-minute off-platform booking with Hipcamp and refused any flexibility when high winds made the trip unsafe. I told her this was for friends that are new to camping yet she never mentioned her refund policy until I asked for credit, then claimed I needed to cancel at least a week in advance. I booked with her six days before the trip. She knew that. Still took the money anyway. No empathy, no communication, just rigid and shady. Avoid this place unless you’re fine losing your money with zero support or go through Hipcamp to stay stress free.
Jun 22, 2025 · Aatif ShahMy husband and myself absolutely loved this place. The private beach was everything. We brought our chairs and heater and enjoyed the days on the beach. There was a water fall going into the ocean. It was breathtaking. Counted 10 sea lions. There is a restaurant in walking distance. We really enjoyed that. Lots of bird watching. Just a truly remarkable experience. The host Brenda answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions. Make sure to check in with her. She recommended the restaurant and I really enjoyed her knowledge about the history of the property. We will definitely go back. It was absolutely relaxing and worth the drive.
