May 26, 2025 · Melissa MeachamEnjoyed our stay here for the most part. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the store is really quaint and cute. Bathrooms were clean, lake had some good fishing.Other than that, we just wish a little more care was put into some of the common areas like the golf course and pool. Golf course is really dilapidated and you can tell hasn’t been maintained in quite some time. Piles of rocks, leaves, gravel and debris everywhere making it impossible to play. I can’t imagine it’d be a major task to get out there with a leaf blower from time to time.Pool is really cute, but again, falling apart. Bottom is peeling and rough. Bricks around the pool are broken. We found a decent site for our RV, but the campground is mostly seasonals and the majority of the transient spots are tiny or have the electric and sewer on the wrong side. Took us a bit to find one to fit us adequately.
Aug 27, 2024 · Sara OAfter seeing prior reviews we almost didn’t go. Glad we did. Gated campground. Quiet and peaceful. Grounds are maintained, amenities are well taken care of. Did not utilize the bathhouse. Choose your own campsite. Pros and cons to that. Difficult to look for one towing a big rig. Rarely saw any staff. Laundry was extremely difficult to figure out and office staff had no clue.
Sep 09, 2024 · Lucy & Ed Vinck18 years ago this was an amazing campground. Sadly as with a lot of 1000 trails it has seen better days. The putt putt course is one of the best(lots of complicated holes) but is covered in debris. Trash EVERYWHERE! The gate does not work very well. Not many bathrooms and they are in bad condition. This campground needs some serious TLC. The one employee we saw was very nice but closed the store and other buildings at 430. Picture with the railing is where the indoor water used to be :(.
Jun 19, 2023 · erin habichtWe decided to give this a try “off season” so we didn’t use any amenities. We were able to enjoy ourselves without too many neighbors. Everything worked (electric/sewer) and there was no problems. There seem to be some permanent residences and annual members. They were all really nice and sweet, we met quite a few walking our dogs. Down sides: roads are bumpy and dumpsters are a little bit away from the camp site. Over all, not a bad place at all.
