April 06 · Anne MartinCan't beat this place......Great caretaker you have to meet spud the hound he's as friendly as you can find they have equipment if you're not good at parking you're camper Justice will help you if you don't like this place you're not a true camper.....we stayed over a month
June 28 · Jamie HoltWe arrived a bit late and were greeted kindly. Shown to our camp site. We had everything we needed, and not being veteran campers (and this our first trip in our camper), when we needed some advice or help, it was given with hospitality. We will be back.
March 30 · Kathleen RoethlerThis is a very rustic RV/campground nestled in the Sandhills of NC within 30-minutes of Pinehurst & Southern Pines, with all their upscale amenities. Pros are the natural beauty of this area, including shady sites and a gorgeous lake with swimming, grills, swings, etc. At first, the community of semi-/permanent residents with varying degrees of care to their sites, was off-putting. But everyone was quiet and friendly. Justin, the owner/manager of this family business, was exceptionally professional and accessible. I greatly appreciated my time here. Thanks Justin!PS. Rate is $45 but they offer military & senior discounts. Showers are being renovated but toilet is open. I gave them 4-stars because of the natural setting and Justin’s hospitality. I’d rather be gravel & sand rustic with privacy than parking-lot urban noisy. But that’s me, not everyone:)
July 07 · Lynn BrownI have been here for a week. I was hesitant at first, because of bad reviews from years ago. I am so glad I ignored them. I can honestly say I haven't been to the bathhouse, so I can't give an opinion. But this is this best campground I have ever stayed at. The lake is clean, no water shoes needed. I have not seen trash laying out. Even memorial day weekend...by 11pm it was Quiet as a church mouse. The owner and staff are constantly working, polite, and helpful. Yes, there are alot of permanent people...who crash at 10 pm. And the permanent lots are lived in. Not dirty or dangerous. The lake is amazing...a hidden gem. The people are just as amazing. Ignore the old reviews, yes this is a new owner.
