★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I hate camping, but I LOVE this place!! it would take three paragraphs to go into all the smart intuitive attention to detail and aesthetics. It is also the first place I’ve stayed that actually had enough if not more than enough pillows in the right shape shapes and sizes for me!! Anybody who knows me knows this is shocking. Bugs are not a problem in the tent, and the tall oscillating fan in the tent could be moved with extension cord out of the deck to keep bugs off of you if the breeze dies down while you sit and relax or eat outside. Speaking of the fans… I’m extremely picky about fan noises and if there’s a rattle or too high-pitched of a sound I absolutely CANNOT sleep, these fans have a light lower sound that is extremely relaxing. The only thing I needed for myself for sleeping was an eye mask due to our early morning Minnesota sunrise rises. Beautiful biking, lakes, and tubing down rivers and streams nearby with an a 10 minute walk or 2–10 minute drive. My kids loved the hammock area that is kept set up in a cluster of trees. *Each tent comes stocked with service for four dishes, and could you imagine a more beautiful place to wash dishes than the picture posted?!Also, restrooms are super cute, not outhouses at all, two private toilets and two private shower rooms with eucalyptus hanging to send to your shower.Bed linens did not smell strongly like detergent.
July 15 · Alexia SuiterWe spent our weekend from Thursday-Sunday in Cedar tent. Cedar tent is one of the 2 tents furthest away from the main road. There's a bath/restroom house that has 2 bathrooms w/toilets and 2 shower only rooms. Everything was very clean and decorated exceptionally well. We felt like we transported back into time 100 years. Was really easy to walk to the walking path that was part of the Gledalough state park. Plenty of wood available to build a fire. Wish there were fire sticks available but I ended up finding a nice wood stick to move the burning wood. Tents have fans and heaters if it gets chilly. Refrigerator and storage totes to keep your food fresh. French press to make that ohh so needed coffee first thing in the morning as we watch the dew dry. We traveled from Indiana for our little getaway.and are very pleased.
July 15 · Phillip GehlhausenA beautiful place. The string lights around the tent , hammocks, comfortable bedding and the fire place we enjoyed it all. The bathrooms were extremely clean. My son was ecstatic to make s'mores during the nights and he enjoyed the lazy river and see minnows swim around. Thank you Heidi for letting our family make beautiful memories.
May 28 · Roma KamatWe had a great first experience Glamping the other night at the Grove. We came with little kids and this setup did not disappoint. Cots for kids were set up ahead of time. Everything we needed and more made it a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!
July 02 · Leah MccomasMy husband & I stayed at this lovely Glamping site in mid June for 2 nights & completely enjoyed ourselves. Everything was so nice - highly recommend!!! We reserved the Birch Tent which is slightly more secluded as it is in a little stand of trees. We made use of the small refrigerator, the fan, the kettle for french press (brought our own coffee) & the sweet string lights both inside & out. We appreciated that there was both sun screen & bug spray in the bathrooms (which are quite nice / new). We both found the bed to be very comfortable! The Grove was so relaxing & enjoyable. Next time we will for sure take advantage of the -very near by- state park. If you go, bring a gallon of water for use in your tent (again, we loved the french press). The fire pit, chairs & picnic table just outside the tent were all perfect - I think that one bundle of firewood is always provided. We did choose to dine in the nearby town & enjoyed everything we had there, too. Thank you, Heidi for creating such a beautiful get-away.
