May 11, 2025 · John MThis is our favorite RV resort. Great location on the Yough and the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail runs right through it. They always have fun activities planned and we love the adult pool area! We stay here frequently and love it...
Jun 17, 2025 · Pam BernoskiProbably our favorite campground. We stayed here several other times when it was a KOA. The change to Blue Canoe has come with many upgrades. We love the location, the size of the RV sites, the cabins, amenities, and service staff. We live about 6 hours away but this has become a place we want to visit every summer.
Jun 14, 2025 · Jeff & Brandi HybiakVery nice BUT can they please open the pool & spa earlier then 9am?! For us early risers thats late. Most hotels open them at 5 or 6am. Other then that, we enjoyed everything else. Thank you.
Jun 15, 2025 · Kenny F.This was my first time at Blue Canoe....I was a visitor at a friends camp...Let me start by saying it is beautiful there..so much to do...swimming for the kids, biking, fishing a small shop and cafe...literally SO many things to do and being right on the water was so relaxing...truly one of the nicest RV parks I've been too.. Unfortunately though due to an incident we witnessed happen with another camper at their camp and I'm guessing someone who works there? I'm unsure...we had made friends with people and were at their camp fire...when all of a sudden an elderly woman comes FLYING in maxing the speed on the golf cart...I thought they knew her cause why would a random person come flying onto a site like that putting many peoples lives in danger? Including children? ..I quickly realized she wasn't a friend as she started screaming at these people like I've never seen...not only did she speed straight into the camp where our fire was...but I was worried she was going to hit me or one of the MANY small children in the area and that were staying at this site...From what I gathered the camper went too fast in a golf cart over one of the speed bumps with his kids...which isn't ok, nor safe...they most certainly shouldn't be doing that. However, the atrocious way it was handled....well...its made us decide we most likely won't be back. We can't put our childrens lives in danger because of an elderly woman that wants to scream at someone for driving a cart too fast when she herself could have severly injured MANY campers by speeding in the way she did onto the site. She handled the situation VERY unprofessionally when it could have been handled much better without putting multiple humans lives in danger. I am just thankful one of the smaller children weren't out running about cause this could have ended horribly. We appreciate the stay and it really is a beautiful place, we had a wonderful time as a family...but someone should possibly have a sit down or maybe watch some videos on how to handle situations properly instead of full blown rage, bullying, and putting peoples lives in danger...even though she was an older woman, she seemed unable to have a proper adult conversation which is oddly terrifying because people like that are fuses that could snap at anytime.
