July 15 · Daryl WilsonAmazing trip, we did a 2 week family vacation and this was what we did at the end of it all. Could not have ended on a higher note. Food is AMAZING, such a variety of different meals and you will not go hungry. The bathroom situation is not bad at all the crew does a great job at making sure it is all clean. It was so fun from start to finish, the crew is so nice and they really love what they do. Stories around the campfire every night and the crew does poems and plays songs.would give it 10 stars if I could!
July 12 · Trenton NebelYou start with a handshake and end with a hug!I booked this as a solo traveler. I ended my trip with a family of dozens. Right out the gate the crew makes everyone feel comfortable. You greet them all and get names (yikes trying to remember at first). The excitement in the air is felt by everyone. After a nice lunch (trust me you’ll be eating good!) it time to head out and your adventure has fully started. The people around you become friends and then family. There’s no service, your space is a tent (and in our week -wk 10 of 2024- it rained the first two days). You sit and enjoy each others company. You tell stories and laugh. It’s like a community. The crew works tirelessly to make sure you’re well fed, entertained and looked after. The joy of sitting around a campfire, hearing children playing chase with Red (the dog) and catching frogs, smelling dinner cooking over a fire it’s very relaxing. Kids learned to whittle, adults to start fires and cook over a camp stove, tend to the horse, setting up tents (and again in our case tarps to hopefully keep out some rain). I watched dinner service and the guests all went first, followed by the youngest crew members (children of the crew, who still worked as hard as adult crew), then the women of the crew followed by the men and finally the trail boss. Every meal just like that. The respect for each other was immense. Everyone had a job and every job was important, no one job could function with out the other. If you’re looking for a way to get back to nature, a way to connect, a way to unplug I’d highly recommend this journey. And like I started with at the end the crew lined up for a final good bye and instead of handshakes it was hugs (and a lot of tears).
August 16 · Heidi JolineWonderful experience...Jeff (Owner and Wagon Master) and cowboys and cowgirls staff were the best! True off-the-grid experience with port-a-potty bathrooms, tents and sleeping bags (provided by Teton Wagon Train), three wonderful meals a day, campfires every night with stories, songs, poems, skits, smores...beautiful scenery every day whether riding horses, riding in wagons or walking. Every day was different. Met so many wonderful people who we will stay in touch with and were hard to say goodbye to. Book the trip. You won't regret it!!
June 17 · Carol CunhaBest camping vacation ever! All you need is your personal belongings. Jeff and his crew supply literally everything else, tents,, pillows, sleeping bags,, everything.Very rustic camping. No running water. You do get to bathe in a lake (if you use that campsite) with some camp soap.Jeff and his crew are so hospitable and kind. Lots of campfire stories, opportunities for horse riding, and skits / entertainment. Totally worth every dime!
