May 22, 2022 · Autumn LaSHae HeckJust a biker bar unfortunately . Not saying anything bad about bikers but that's the clientele that they cater to, everyone else gets last dibs. Camping isn't too bad if you don't mind not having any privacy. You're right on the river and that's hard to find. So take your pro's and con's. If you'd like an actual camping experience there are plenty of places back in Del Rio. The dude ranch is an awesome spot. 461 Old River Rd, Del Rio, TN 37727. Horse trails, canoeing, rafting, etc etc. Ask for Shawn & Jo Ann Gannon. You can also go to Paint Creek or Brush Creek also know as white oak flats, which is a hidden gem. That's real camping btw. Anything past the slab is sure to be more private and more of a camping experience then sleeping next to a biker bar right on the highway. But at Barbarossa saloon you have everything you need right there. Food entertainment drinks. . . . Just depends on the type of camper that you are. (Few people know this, there are a couple spots right on the river, free to camp, canoe, kayak. . .whatever you'd like. Just go to Del Rio!)
