Tailwater East Campground Reviews
Very nice riverside campground with fish cleaning station, boat launch and bathrooms. Campground is closed for the season, launch ramp is open. These are large concrete slab campsites and appear fairly level. I had 2 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming, no wifi and no OTA television channels.
Oct 23, 2024 · Will HandleyI was here in November after it was closed but it looked amazing. The sites are full hookups, spacious and in a beautiful place. Would love to come when they’re open and stay a few days. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is bc I haven’t camped here just saw the place and walked around it and down some trails nearby. It’s gorgeous!!
Nov 29, 2023 · Guinn O’NealOverall a nice campground. Concrete pads, clean shower facilities and site next to the water. You need to check in at the campground above the dam. There is no water so you will need to fill your tank while you're up there.
Aug 06, 2019 · SteveVery small campground loop. Sites are very very close together and facilities are older. Could really use an update. Sites are a mix of gravel and paved. Electric only, no water or sewer. The west campground across the dam is much nicer. The previous camper left garbage and dog excrement. Will not stay here again.
Jul 06, 2018 · Heather HyattIt is breathtaking. Beware that the east side smells fishy. I didn’t mind it, but hubby did a bit.
