Swan Lake Campground Reviews
This beautiful campground is located out past republic and tucked into the woods. Definitely worth the drive!! There are two other neighboring lakes that you can also visit. We walked the 2.5mi trail around the lake, beautiful views! The campground host was friendly and kind enough to bring us brochures on any wild animals we may see. I will definitely return next summer!!!
Oct 04, 2023 · Amber “Step mommy to 1” FastBeautiful lake and campground. Not crowded in early August. Lots of space between campsites. 3 floating docks, 2 for swimming, one for fishing. Fishing was poor, kayaking great. No motorized boats allowed. Loved listening to the loons. Hard to imagine you'd find a better campsite that one can drive to. If you want even more privacy, nearby Ferry Lake was open (FS website said closed) with no campers. But the campsites aren't as nice.

May 31, 2025 · Mickenzie BurnsSwan lake campground is nice! The only complaint I have is that someone there camping had a child that was crying(LOUDLY) the whole time we were there, and that is not relaxing at all! And the day we left(on a monday) the toilet pumper came, cleaning the bathrooms, creating a smell that I never want to smell again! But hey, at least they're cleaning them out!!!
Aug 17, 2023 · Dawn McPheeLove Swan. Our favorite place to camp. Than they started letting cows come into the campground. Now there is poop all over the trails and poop in the water. Now there is a boil water order in place. What the heck. This is disgusting. Stop the cows it’s ruining our favorite spot. I only give one star because of the cows. There is Coliform in the water which is E Coli which is from the cows pooping in the water. PLEASE Stop the Cows. It’s disgusting.
