Sullivan's Camp Cacapon Reviews
Good vibe and marvelous view. Cabins are lovely and clean. The host (sexy debonair owner) and his beautiful wife are very accommodating and make you feel like you’re part of the family. Sullivan’s camp is a tranquil and peaceful place one wants to escape to, away from the busy world. It’s the “Scotland” of America. I will definitely come back and this time with my whole family ! The kayak activity in the river is my favourite and will soon share this experience with my son when I come back from Dubai. My son will definitely love this magical place full of warmth, laughter and love…….
Jun 09, 2025 · ArizzWhat a hidden gem. This is an amazing family-owned campground on one of the most beautiful rivers in the country! The owners are very welcoming and helpful - it doesn’t take long to realize this campground is a labor of love for them. Caught some sunfish, kayaked, and relaxed by the huge camp fire. The RV spot has full hook-ups and is large and level - I didn’t need to level our RV after parking. There are quaint cabins, tent sites, and very cool looking “glamping tents” that looked incredible. We love this campground and will be back!!!
Jun 04, 2025 · David RamseyerTent camped here with my wife and 2 dogs for one very rainy night in early May but absolutely LOVED our stay! Top reasons to choose to stay here would be the immaculate bathrooms (with awesome sink for dishes) and well l set-up campsites with great footprints and fire pits. Beautiful, serene location and look forward to coming back again as we are able to. They had thorough instructions for check-in and check-out which I appreciated as a person who likes things organized.
May 28, 2025 · Eric JohnstonWe stayed at Sullivan's Camp for a long weekend in May with our 17 ft trailer. The campground hosts 2 RV sites and has beautiful cabins, soft shell enclosures -yurts?- and tent sites. Each site has raised platform to tent off the ground.. There were only a few other sites in use while we were there. Campground is immaculate and right on the water. Dog friendly, so we were able to bring our two pups. It was cool in May, so we did not use the river... a bit gnatty on arrival, so screen room is handy. Location was a 20 minute drive to Berkeley Springs and about a half hour to Paw Paw on the C&O rails to trails - our two excursions for the weekend. This campground is perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay. Not much in the surrounding area other than peace and tranquility. Mark was a supr host. Thank you for hosting, Mark.
Jun 12, 2025 · Theresa RohmannHands down one of the best camping experiences I have had in a really long time.I love family owned businesses and I found a goldmine. Immediately follow them and book ASAP. We stopped at the bathhouses in Berkeley Springs and then lazied our way in. The process has been flawless. The owner texted me the day after my booking and asked me to look over three PDF packets carefully.Every question I had was answered in the email, there was a map for offline use(no cell service), and they gave us same day weather and bug updates.120% recommend. These pictures don’t even do it justice. You just have to be here.
