Stuart Mill Bay Campground Reviews
Enjoyed car camping at site 12 which has about 40' of lake front, 2 parking spots, and is very close to the vault toilet. There are no sinks, no water spigots, and no garbages anywhere that I saw at this campground. Bring your own wood if you want a fire in your fire pit, there aren't any bundles for sale here. Also, there are signs warning you about bears. I don't fish but for those that do, I saw a fish jump 2ft up out of the lake and heard more fish flopping out in the water. There was a motorized boat on the water. This campground is for fishing enthusiasts I couldn't find any hiking trails. $18/night. The nightly rate is less for those who have a MT state fishing license and even less if you are 62 or over.

Dec 22, 2021 · LimitlessWhat a great little gem of a campground. Found a site right on the water. The camp spaces are large and well spaced. First come first serve. Pit toilets. I stopped for one night and ended up staying for 3. I will go back.
Aug 15, 2016 · Stan Penfold7 days of camping 16 sites. Tables 🔥 pits and bathrooms. There is a fee to camp here. No trash cans so you will have to take it with you to dump it. Right next to the lake. There is a moose with a couple little ones with her so watch out for her. There is fishing spots. Very quiet place. Yes they allow tents and RV's. No wood for burning so you will have to cart some in.
