Starlite Vintage Resort Reviews
My husband and I stayed in the Firetruck. It was cute and clean. The whole place is kept nicely, clean, with charming atmosphere. The couple that owns it was constantly working to improve the atmosphere while we were there. The restrooms were clean and spacious, the pool was so refreshing in the heat. The little kid playground was perfect for about 1-4 year olds, they also have a older kids play area. Lots of shade trees on the place, lots of options for ways to stay (tent camping, camper hookups, various sized campers on site, apartments) each place they provide is decorated in its own theme. I would absolutely go back if we're in the area again.
Jun 16, 2025 · Katrina BlankenshipThis is the coolest overnight place I've ever stayed at! All the restored '50s & '60s RVs and old cars are just what a person needs to get away. And the owners are super nice! I'm anxious to see what future plans entail... lots of room for expansion. The tri-level trailer (project now) made in 1954 is a sight to see!!
Jun 27, 2025 · Terry BallardWe were recommended to stay here from a friend and it certainly did not disappoint. We stayed in a cabin and had a great experience. The cabin was clean, cozy and the outside area was great with a firepit, cafe lights and comfortable chairs to enjoy the beautiful night sky. It's very close to Royal Gorge and conveniently located! The restrooms were recently remodeled and very clean, too. I would highly recommend this charming resort if you are into 'glamping'!
May 05, 2025 · Robin MarumotoI love love love the Starlite! The vintage campers are so cute and comfortable. They have everything you need, and the clubhouse has all the necessities you might need (some food, fire starters, lighter, etc.) There are a lot of fun amenities like yard games and a heated pool! I’m already looking forward to staying here again. The owner Dirk was super helpful and answered all our questions. Definitely would recommend staying here if you’re in the area. It’s super close to the royal gorge and Cañon City.
May 25, 2025 · JeanaPerfect location and the owner Dirk and his wife were the perfect host. We stayed for 2 nights. The first night we enjoyed a dip in the pool and listened to karaoke. Later we had a mishap with wind ripping our tent open. Dirk was right there and helped us repair it. He definitely saved the day. The second day we stayed in their 2bd apartment. It was huge and even better than the pictures. It even had a huge deck with a grill. The grounds were very well kept and the showers and toilets were extremely clean. I can't wait to return when the spa and hot tub are open.
