Springville / Provo KOA Journey

Campground, Children's camp ★3.0

1550 N 1750 W, Springville, UT 84663, USA

3.0
KOA in general doesn't seem great. You are packed like sardines on this camp site. There is a reason none of their pictures show a single campsite. Our RV spot had no outdoor table. Our water spigot was rusted, wrapped in a heating cable and barely delivered any water.Bathrooms are spacious, and generally quite good, but for whatever reason they used "builder grade", black fixtures and door knobs. Black is the worst choice for something commercial like this. One was already broken, along with a basic doorknob that was replaced by a silver variant. Cleanliness wasn't great, but also not the worst we have seen on our 2 week trip.Playground had a piece of plywood on it. You get the picture...So maintenance isn't really fixing, but patching things up. To bad really. This spot has all the potential for a good camp ground. Loose 30-50% of the sites to give proper space to your guests, properly fix things up and you got yourself a pretty cozy space with tons of amenities. We only stayed one night, so it was fine, but would not stay here longer. - V. This campground is a practical and convenient option, especially for those who value accessibility and a predictable experience. While some reviews note that the sites can be closely spaced and that some maintenance issues may exist, it is worth noting that these are common characteristics of many KOA Journey locations, which prioritize convenience and a high volume of guests. For many, this is a fair trade-off for the easy access and amenities provided. As one reviewer mentioned, the pull-thru sites are particularly recommended for their ease and comfort. It’s a place that works well for its intended purpose: a reliable, no-fuss stop for travelers. For those who prioritize spacious, secluded sites and a more "primitive" camping experience, another location might be a better fit. However, if your needs are focused on a place that is family-friendly, pet-friendly, and provides the essential services for a comfortable stay on the road, the Springville / Provo KOA Journey is a solid and affordable choice that serves its purpose well for a quick or extended stay in the heart of Utah Valley.
