Totally awesome place to camp alone, with friends, a loved one, or the entire family! Be sure to reserve a spot ahead of time though, and scout the spot you want before reserving... some spots have little to no shade or a steep incline to trek from your spot to the public restrooms.Close enough to the lagoon that you can walk down a trail to the east and loop to the lagoon for some swimming. It's about a 1.5 miles walk from the campground but I would hesitate to recommend anyone in a wheelchair attempt it as there is a steep incline... we barely managed it with a stroller!! 😂10/10 would recommend!! Also, a Sonoma county parks pass will get you a free night of camping and you can park at the lagoon or other sonoma county regional parks for free just by displaying it in your windshield! - Morgan H.
