Spaulding Lake Campground

Overnight spot. Sites are very close. Fire pit right outside our door. Glad we didn’t have neighbors on either side. Lots of long term. Owner very nice and helpful. We had a pull through site. Very level and all hookups worked great. Our picnic table was new. It was a quiet place even with the rowdy bunch behind us. They were reviving their motorcycles, drinking beer, and making lots of noise. They did stop around 11pm. Lots of people leaving in their trucks around 5am the next morning. Someone’s car alarm went off then too. Overall not a bad place to stop for a night or two. It is also close to Lake Michigan and Lions Park Beach. 35 minute drive. - Debby Black
