Nice place overall, some words of wisdom. Do not camp by the toliets , not worth the short walk at bedtime.Careful of the wind if you're out on the lake , picks up in the afternoon and can blow a paddle board back into a cove no problem .

Jul 01, 2025 · Roger MaassenMy wife and I recently fished at South shore boat ramp and docks,it was an awesome fishing trip,first of all my wife is handicaped and can't walk far,there is ample handicap parking close to the dock and very fishable shoreline,the camp host was a very friendly and helpful gentleman,there is a parking fee there and is cash only ,no card machine,well worth the fee to park,we caught two limits of trout in two hours casting spinners and bottom fishing with crawlers,the trout where 2-3 lbs ,nice.
